nice call! i wouldn't have remembered it was from that movie... maybe it just popped into his head? funny thing is its the same time period as the song
Interesting guitar geek fact. Rick has been playing his hand made Greg Deluis guitar almost exclusively for the past few months, since around April. It looks like he was playing it at the Glasgow gig the previous night judging from the video also put up by atthebeach70. But at this Manchester gig he played his 'older' PRS Hollowbody for the whole show (the Deluis was behind him on the stand but wasn't played). There are folks on guitar forums who will be writing theses on this 🤣
Im curious why he switched up for the night. I realize a lot of people think his new guitar sounds harsh and the prs has a smoother creamier tone. Not going to lie I did not like his new one in the beginning but when I saw them at spac it sounded dialed in and killer!
@@Bowiesdad531 Many people (guitar players mainly!) focus on things 99% of the rest of the audience won't even have noticed. I don't really have a preference, PRS or DeLuis, but I knew quite a few other guitarists would be interested. Both sound fine to my ears. For what it's worth, I'm reading that the DeLuis usually sounds fine at the gig, but maybe sounds a little harsh on recordings.
As someone who does not play guitar but has listened to goose non stop for 4 years, I don't notice the difference. If anything I notice the difference in size of venues. When they moved up in venue size I noticed a difference in sound, but as they played more and more they evolved. I'm wondering if going back to the older guitar was more to do with they were back to playing small venues?
They do some good covers, and I appreciate the attempt, but I'd shelve "I would die 4 u". Awesome song, but they don't quite capture it, imho. No hate, just like, my opinion, man.
@@WardenJune name me one other jamband that uses Auto-Tune live. No if your are talking about pop bands then yes most do. Also im not talking about distortion and looping. Im talking about Autotune. Itake them sound very gimmicky... imo
@@WardenJune rick uses Auto-Tune every time he sings... only time its not used it for peter songs.. It's cool people like Post Malone. And Gosses is the equivalent to post Malone... imo
@@CryptoBuffoon yes he uses it for spacey effect on a few songs. You are incorrect that he uses it all the time. And you're right, most jam bands don't use vocal effects. Most jam band's vocals are pretty lousy. Are you a Goose fan?

They only sounded good 2019 thru 21, now its too slow and experimental especially for the Price. But I g I ess you just have to find the good shows. Llike 12 31 21 or Mustang Salley

Need more of that older tone from him. The Austin TX show at Scoot Inn are a prime example of that. Also play Life on the Shelf. More Pete
Tweeks!!! We can't hear this rig brother! Bring him up and re-upload it please!!!!

Hi Jack
Who is this "Jack" you are saying hello to on these videos?
Not sure how ya gonna replace Ben!

is this Juice World😂😂😂😂😂
Love Goose. But this isn’t a good cover choice for them.
turn the Auto-Tune off....wtf
Most bands use echo and reverb effects. Whatever the effect was that was bothering you isn't present in the second song, is it?
