Thank you. So I hope people found this helpful. I do kind of know what I’m doing. When you play Jacks or better, you can go two ways. The first way is to be safely even if you have a low pair you would hold them. The thing is when you play Jack’s or better, the payoff on those kind of pairs is not great. So you can bet the other way, which is riskier trying to go for streets flushes or full house. It’s riskier, but you can win a lot more. If you’re a beginner or a novice at poker, I would say go for the safer bets and then stretch your wings as you increase your comfort level with the game. Hope this helps
Hahaha! You had me screaming at the screen at 20:12. You were dealt two pair (10s and 6s), and you didn't see it. That was a guaranteed winner to double your bet, and you only kept the sixes. Big mistake. I know you're learning, so my advice is to slow down a little. 😊
Thanks! I appreciate it . I usually do slots videos, so I thought it might be cool to show these machines. I obviously have a long way to go to improve my play! Thanks again
You should keep low pairs because you are able to upgrade to two pair, three-of-a-kind, full house, or four-of-a-kind. A low pair is more powerful than a high card (but obviously, not guaranteed to be a winner). In poker parlance, the EV (expected value, or return on your bet) is higher holding a low pair.
@@shadyslots I love video poker, so I am biased. LOL However, the best way to learn the game is to keep playing, but if you have a friend who can play along with you, and help you make the proper holds, that is the best way to improve! 😀
It's fine that you were only betting one coin per hand, but by doing that, you were not activating the Ultimate X feature. You were just playing regular 10-play. Also, if you had hit a Royal Flush, you would have only won 250 coins, not 4,000 coins. It's better to play max bet at lower denominations. Playing less than max bet is not good strategy.
Hi. Thanks for the feedback . It was my first time playing 10 hands , and it threw me off. I know I made a few blunders. I will keep playing and hopefully improve! I appreciate the help
I loved this.I basically would have played the same way. Some hands
🃏were tough to decide.
