These are quite the skilled ringers, Wish I'd be as skilled as them. Too bad I'm just a child.

Don't worry, you won't always be a child. You will be grown up quicker than you think. Enjoy being a child, don't hurry it, because you can never ever go back again. But you can be also start learning now. A child can do more than most adults if they will work to learn it, because children aren't stupid, and most adults are too lazy to bother. There are children who play the violin and the piano. Even if it something difficult, the earlier you begin the better. It you want to be good as an adult, start learning now. You learn much faster and more easily as a child, and you will have a head start. Good luck 🙂

I didn't even know "Russian bells" were a thing. I shouldn't be surprised though. Who else has as much culture as Russia, seriously?

I am "bell crazy". Having worked on Swiss farms and alps where the sound of sometimes hundreds of bells filled the air, to playing the Dutch carillon and combining Gregorian chant with Tibetan singing bowls (ruclips.net/video/7MDRzyxIYDQ/видео.html) , I find the bell ringing in the Russian Orthodox tradition the most fascinating. I heard it for the first time in 2010 when I was in Russia.
The contrast of this seemingly random cheerfulness (I know it is not random at all) compared to the anything but random seriousness of the Russian icons is fascinating. This cheerfulness is similar to the fairytale like architecture of the St. Basil cathedral on the Red Square.
Today my goat bells jungle on my bicycle and on my garden gates every time the get moved.

I would be in Russia's side even if just because I am sick of everyone in the US jumping into whatever the media tells them to support. They all say the media lies and spreads propaganda to start wars, yet as soon as they start out with "war crimes and atrocities!" everyone starts up in outrage at whatever target they pointed them at. Like we haven't seen this in every single other conflict as well, almost always exaggerations or lies.
