I like how you can see permanent damage on Megatron from his previous fight with Optimus Prime: aside from the obvious gash on his head, he's also got a beefier right arm that looks much different from his left, due to Optimus having ripped off his right arm at the elbow (and using his arm cannon to shot him in the face).
It’s actually insane how badly Michael fucked up megatron. I remember watching this movie as a kid and mid movie I was like, why tf doesn’t megatron just meet up with shockwave to create a new body. Mans can create a giant centipede but is absent and doesn’t even associate with decepticons thru the entire movie
There is an actual reason for why that is the case. In the original scene, Megatron actually shot one of the elephants. The scene played out that the elephants tried to intimidate him (when they raised their trunks). Megatron then pulled out his gun and shot an elephant. That was why the other elephants and other animals ran in one moment (not because of his growl). Paramount saw this scene and believed it to be too graphic for a PG-13 movie, so it was removed and the scene was spliced and scrambled. If you were ever curious why he pulled out his gun and didn’t use it, that is why.
Fun fact: In the original script, Megatron was actually supposed to shoot one of the elephants, which was why the other elephants were running. However, Paramount forced Bay to trim it out because it was deemed “too gruesome” for the PG-13 rating (considering that Transformers was somewhat targeted to kids merchandise wise). Hopefully one day we get a uncut DOTM with the deleted scenes added

I like the detail of how when he is in the wild surrounded by animals he uses a the voice of a lion to scare off the animals being that it's at the top of the food chain. when he's around humans he speaks English but it's this menacing voice meant to make you fear him... I don't know if I'm reaching or not but it's just something I notice

One of the few scenes where we actually see his true personality. Under all the lion growling, beat downs, and ripping apart, he’s still just a being trying to save his home and securing a future for his people.

Megatron in this scene is just perfect. The cape is to hide his failure to his master, and the shame that came with it. His new mad max style truck form is a reflection of his chosen path from back on Cybertron, one of self destruction, hence why he took it, he saw in the insurrectionists what he once believed himself to be. And in some ways still thinks he is. But also knows that like him, they are more likely driving to there own self destruction. Now here he is. Alone. Lost. And with nobody. No allies, no underlings, he figuratively and quite literally, a broken man. A shadow of his former self, a fragment of his old glory, and if he is to rule this new kingdom, he shall do do in the tongue of its kings (hence the lion roar).

That's because Igor is long haul. During operation firestorm in rotf, long haul got blasted by explosions. The theory is after the battle, scalpel found him, and built him a new body out of scrap parts. And the reason he's hunched over is because his spark is located inside that backpack. His spark was also damaged in the missile salvo, which is why he's so dumb.
If youve ever wondered why he's not on screen when he said "all hail Megatron", he was originally going to say it as he shot the elephant but i guess they thought that was too brutal. He does it in the comic though

If Bay's Decepticons have their roots in the slave revolution like in other continuities, I kinda feel bad for Megatron. Forced to hide out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the things he hates, animals, and deprived of his arm while suffering from intense brain-damage. Meanwhile, that psychopath Optimus sits in his shiny D.C. warehouse, blowing up terrorists on occasion and overall living the life that would be implied by Megatron being a former slave.

Megatron in this scene is just perfect.
The cape is to hide his failure to his master, and the shame that came with it. His new mad max style truck form is a reflection of his chosen path from back on Cybertron, one of self destruction, hence why he took it, he saw in the insurrectionists what he once believed himself to be. And in some ways still thinks he is. But also knows that like him, they are more likely driving to there own self destruction.
Now here he is. Alone. Lost. And with nobody. No allies, no underlings, he figuratively and quite literally, a broken man. A shadow of his former self, a fragment of his old glory, and if he is to rule this new kingdom, he shall do do in the tongue of its kings (hence the lion roar).

That's because Igor is long haul. During operation firestorm in rotf, long haul got blasted by explosions. The theory is after the battle, scalpel found him, and built him a new body out of scrap parts. And the reason he's hunched over is because his spark is located inside that backpack. His spark was also damaged in the missile salvo, which is why he's so dumb.

If youve ever wondered why he's not on screen when he said "all hail Megatron", he was originally going to say it as he shot the elephant but i guess they thought that was too brutal. He does it in the comic though

megatron is the beast from book of revelations the one with the mortal wound, scorponoks are the one stinging people in book of revelation, a dragon shoots a river out his mouth is actually talking lazer, the four living creature are good in book of revelation they are bad in tranfomers.
If Bay's Decepticons have their roots in the slave revolution like in other continuities, I kinda feel bad for Megatron. Forced to hide out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the things he hates, animals, and deprived of his arm while suffering from intense brain-damage. Meanwhile, that psychopath Optimus sits in his shiny D.C. warehouse, blowing up terrorists on occasion and overall living the life that would be implied by Megatron being a former slave.
Ya,they really treat the decepticons like random underdog villian's instead of a advanced alien beings..they don't even give them a proper base of operation in the movies.
