Hey Brian, would you be able to do a tutorial on "Stand in Awe" by Jeremy Riddle. I've downloaded the chord charts from his website but it doesn't make sense to me.

What exactly are Christians supposed to find salvation from? I haven't done nearly as many horrible things as say other people who are repeat criminals.

dear issagc : we are not saved by our works , let me explain it to you suppose there is a Murder who has murdered 1000 people and now he wants to gain salvation because he wants to enter the kingdom of heaven so his donates 10 Grands to some temple. now 2 questions , 1st. if he donated that much amount then it will be considered a vary holy work 2nd will that be enough for him to enter the kingdom of heaven? ,, answer no, because we are not saved by our works but only through the blood of Jesus Christ we can be Justified and saved , see God is Holy and Blameless so even if you have lied once ( which ii know u did because everyone does) you can not stand infront of God because he is Holy and without Sin. So now how can u Receive SALVATION? .You can receive Salvation through the blood of Jesus that was Shed for us , Because he was without Sin so only he could Redeem us . another way of saying this is " Jesus Came to this Earth to Pay a Debt he did not Own , Because We owed a debt we cannot pay" . always remember The wages of Sin is Death , so if you believe in the blood of Lord Jesus Christ that was Shed for you , then only you can Stand Righteous in-front of God

In God's eyes you (and I) are a criminal, because you have broken His Law. No amount of "good works" can save you from condemnation to Hell. You must place your trust in Christ's sacrifice, repent of your sins, pick up your cross, and follow Him. Be blessed

Man, I am getting so tired of seeing people in the Christian community calling a Csus2 a C and an Asus2 an A or a GaddD a G. You have got to realize how confusing that is for new players. I have been giving guitar lessons at my church to people who have been playing for four or five years that had NO IDEA they were playing the incorrectly named chords. Now, they have all developed terrible habits, and they are having to change their entire approach to the guitar because they were not taught correctly in the first place. PLEASE, FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, CALL THE CHORDS WHAT THEY ARE!!! You are confusing young and upcoming musicians for Christ.
First of all, your F#m is NOT an F#m. It's an F#Maj7sus4 or just F#M7sus4. Also, you should NEVER say it's okay to substitute seconds for majors. That is ridiculous and a terrible habit to boot. These chords sound completely different, and you are changing dynamics when you do this. If a song is supposed to have a major chord, then please, play the major chord. If it's supposed to have a second, then go ahead an play the second, just MAKE SURE you are communicating this to the student, or in this case, the public. Once again, to all new or previously incorrectly informed players, do NOT substitute seconds for majors. It is not appropriate guitar etiquette, a sign of a poorly trained musician, and most of all, incorrect.
