This praise to God, this giving glory and honour to God, is called a doxology. Merriam-Webster defines the word doxology as an expression of praise to God, usually liturgical. This word is comprised of the Greek words doxa and logos. In the Greek language, doxa means glory, splendor, or grandeur while the Greek word logos means word or speaking.
The Bible is filled with doxologies, praise songs to God, giving honour and glory to God. He is worthy of all praise, honour, power and dominion . . . forever!
