Unlikely. After Wave 3, there's only 1 DS course left in the BCP, and to be honest, that slot will be taken up by Airship Fortress. It looks too different compare to the original in Tour that it's obviously coming.
I remember when I first unlocked Rainbow Road in MKDS, I saw the in-game preview and thought the course was entirely made of boost panels (since boost panels were rainbow in that game)

Some adjustments I’d like to develop/add if this is added to Booster course pass: •Should be longer than the original •Add dfferent route like DS Peach Gardens

Amazing track! Seeing my first Rainbow Road remade makes me very happy. Though I will say, that Loop and Corkscrew were the first time I've gotten motion sickness from watching a video. Not really a critique (messing with the camera seems like a pain), but that took me my surprise. More of a roller coaster then ever I suppose.

i dont know if this is a hot take but i really wish this was added over wii rainbow road. i might be biased because i grew up with DS but besides Wii rainbow road's difficulty, it doesn't really have anything unique imo. plus in 8 deluxe the difficulty is toned down since im willing to bet a lot of Wii rainbow roads diffculty was because so many of us were using wiimotes on the side or in the wheel haha
While it's just the DS model placed into the game, I don't think I've ever seen a direct DS port with the colors this accurate before. Reminds me of Mario Kart Wii Retro Tracks. (Also all the textures, and objects are ported too, I shouldn't completely downplay it, there looks like a lot of effort was put into this port. I also love how the scaling wasn't adjusted for 12 players, the tracks look really big when they do that.)

It's nice seeing a version based on the original DS track. It still looks fantastic in 8's engine.
So Yoshi goes from brutally shooting every character with green shells to beating them all on a rainbow track. Interesting.
There custom boost panel textures were a nice touch 👍 Amazing track!

While i love the mkwii rainbow road’s remake in the dlc pack i secretly wished they did this one as well
God this is why I still hope the spiny shell cup. With this track, GBA GameCube and wiis rainbow roads all making this a real epic finale to the game.

The camera angle inside the antigrav loops needs to be lower, but this is a really nice execution of a great idea.

I think if the track was resized a bit better for Mario Kart 8 and flattened a bit better so it’s not so bumpy the track would be perfect
