Thank you ever single one of you who have watched and engaged with us through this show. I had an awesome season hanging out with all of you and talking my favorite thing, the Buffalo Bills! Go Bills.
I’m a Chiefs fan living in upstate NY… I enjoy watching Buffalo and I root for them when they aren’t playing us. I just want to say, you guys are great, and I really appreciate the way you handled this episode. Nothing but class, just like your head coach. I personally thought Josh Allen was incredible at times during this game. That final incomplete pass was incredible and they almost had it. Also, another moment I haven’t heard anyone mention was the crazy play where Mike Danna stripped the ball out of Allen’s hand. Josh recovered the fumble with one hand as he was being thrown to the ground. I’ve never seen anything like that. I genuinely feel for some of my friends and for other members of Bills Mafia like yourselves who have handled this loss with integrity and good sportsmanship.
Love the reference to Cody Alexnader. Having read his books and been on some of clinics, he is such a great reference for not only football knowledge but, for coaches. I’ve seen my own high school kids get better based off his teachings
They outcoached us again, especially on the sneaks. Every time Allen goes left this season, and an opponent finally decided to do something about it. They loaded up to stop the left side sneak. Our coaches didn’t adjust to what they did.
Bummed but i am just going to take this time to be thankful for the things i do have. As Bills fans we always come back stronger. ❤ this team and community. Thankful for you gentlemen at cover 1 . Goodnight mafia.
Coach McDermott haters just kill me… he’s one of the best in the NFL. They’re contending every single year, even when they’re rebuilding. Firing him makes zero sense.
there were people just like you who felt that way about jim mora and andy reid when he was in philly. I guess if you're happy with ending the season in the divisional or conf title game then you're right. keep running it back cuz McD is really good at that. McDermott is Mark Jackson to me. drafted and built that warriors team but they were hitting a wall. everyone was surprised they got rid of him because the warriors went from irrelevant to contenders because of him. But they wanted titles so they had to bring in steve kerr. a dynasty ensued. at this point though, it's useless to debate it. he's not going anywhere. As much as people are sick of this same thing every year, there really isn't anyone out there anymore that is an upgrade. the bad teams poach the good coaches early sitting at home. and ownership won't can him anyway, so the people in your camp will be happy because they'll watch a playoff team every year that gets bounced but be content anyway, and the people who want change will have to just accept that they will likely watch one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play finish out the 5-8 years in his prime he has left without any hardware, team or individual.
Chiefs fan here, nothing but respect to bills mafia. Only one team can go to the Super Bowl sadly and ur fan base is the most classy of all afc teams, keep your head up!
Same. I ain’t even here on some lil bro “You’ll get us next time shit.” that I feel most opposing fans do after a big win. I defend Josh Allen more than any other opposing player because I respect him and his play style so fucking much and if Mahomes wasn’t my team’s QB I would want him. Bills Mafia deserves everything and while they lost this team wasn’t expected to even be here during the offseason. The cap situation isn’t good for them next year but the year after that and with their draft history, development and ultimately Josh Allen they have at least another 5-7 of solid shots to win big.
@@pristinedecision1877Same. As a chiefs fan, massive respect for bills, they’re fans, and Josh Allen. He’s my number one pick if mahomes isn’t playing, and I do hope one of these years he gets the monkey off his back
Obviously Bean needs to do better in the off season. Coleman can't separate.. Coleman had one little catch and Worthy had a playoff game. The end results are telling. Coleman is a bust. 12 yards is all on 4 targets. Cooper is gone.. he wasn't worth the squeeze. if the Bills had just one burner to threaten the defense.. Coleman is too slow.. he won't be able to grow.. he can't separate. Douglas and Rapp will be gone too.. too old too injury prone. need to really fill the defense in off season with some stars instead of wannabe sometime play makers. gonna need corners and at least one safety. and some edge playmakers
I agree to an extent. He definitely needs to get better in run defense! McDermott and Beane must create a defense that can stop the run in the playoffs or we will never win the big game!!
This sucks but we should be better next season with essentially everyone coming back plus more cap room than we’ve had in a while along with 3 picks in the top 62. And hopefully most if not all of those picks go toward defense (DT, DE, CB). Allowed KC to score their most points of the season 🤦 I find it mind blowing they could only get to 30 points against the Panthers and against Tampa in OT yet we allow them 32. That’s a fail. Still, Go Bills and thanks Cover 1 for the great coverage this season. Looking forward to the offseason coverage.
Not blaming anyone But just look at Andrew’s drop ( undeniably a top 5-10 te over the last several years) and kincaids drop. Sucks it came down to that play I don’t even know what my point is but just that great players can make plays you/they want back
The 4th and 1 that they robbed us on should not have even mattered because Kincaid clearly had the first down on the play before. Football is a game of inches and the refs took yards away from us the whole game. Clear first downs were spotted 2nd and 1 or 3rd and 1 several times. The Bishop play was ridiculous. It reminds me of the fail mary.
Don't really want to be thinking about the offseason but alas here we are. - do NOT overpay for the guys up for new deals soon-ish. Groot is not going to command as much as it was looking like early in the season, but he may not even be worth what he'll get. He's not as impactful as most of bills fans want to shout about. he's just not. you're going to spend a sizeable chunk of the cap on a B to B+ player when you need an A at that spot. The results will be the same. - learn your lesson from Milano with Benford and Bernard. Players that are constantly hurt don't magically become ironmen. They paid Milano for 2 years to rehab, and who knows if he'll ever be back to form. With what transpired with Tre White and Von Miller, it's not just worth the risk to keep resigning these red flag players that are basically guaranteed to get hurt. - Beane needs to look outside whatever his braintrust is for scouting college players. He doesn't know what he is doing. Getting lucky with some late rounders has clouded the reality. Cute stories about how they were ecstatic that gabe davis ran a slow 40 and how despite keon's lack of speed, "hey did you see he ran the fastest gauntlet drill!!?!?!" are fodder for fan sentiment, but haven't produced results. The misses on 1st - 3rd round picks are alarming. Groot is above average but not what you hoped. Ed Oliver is still a "showing flashes" guy this many years later drafted top 10. Dalton Kincaid massive disappointment while La Porta, McBride, Bowers are killing it. Kaiir Elam might be a below average corner.... in the CFL or XFL. Just disastrous. - STOP TRADING WITH KANSAS CITY and STOP LETTING JOSH MAKE PERSONNEL DECISIONS!! A lot of people were like "we didn't really want worthy... he didn't fit our system... keon was who josh wanted..." blah blah blah. It's not all that hedging crap about how KC was gonna get worthy by trading someone else or this or that. You are linked to that team forever in the most 'insult to injury,' 'salt in the wound' ways. They got Mahomes on your dime. They jumped in front of you to grab McDuffie and you panicked so took... Elam. Once that trade happened secretly every Bills fan knew it was going to come down to the playoffs vs. KC and Worthy was going to be the best receiver on the field while Keon Slowman fizzled.
I was banging the table for McConkey leading up to the draft and everyone said he didn't "fit the Bills offense"! Imagine Shakir and McConkey on this offense? Beane looks at size to much. McConkey, Worthy, and other receivers are FOOTBALL PLAYERS!! Coleman looks good on paper but he can't run a route and get separation. Coleman is a clear bust at this point and WR is still a need this off-season!
This is a sad one gents. People gonna say fire coaches but let’s not act like Allen wasn’t playing with nerves in first quarter. Kincaid missed the ball at the most clutch spot (and not saying it was easy but he HAD it. ) People are gonna rail about the refs and the spot. Yes, I think it was a 1st down. But why they continued to try the tush push when it was very evident that it was not gonna work this game. KC knew the push would be very instrumental in this. They decided to make it an absolutely non factor. They knew exactly how the bills run it, and they filled that gap EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They needed to stop spamming that. That was the one legit criticism of this team all year: that they couldn’t make adjustments fast enough. It hurts. A lot. This team did a lot this year. They learned and did adapt, including the coaches. Go Bills.
I never thought this team was Super Bowl caliber. They aren’t going anywhere with a team that can’t rush the passer. McDermotts been here seven years and unable to develop any kind of factor along the defensive line you’ve spent high draft picks you whipped on boogie Basham Check swing on Epenesa Oliver’s nothing Daequan hit the wall. Lotta respect for Von’s career, but obviously we’re out of gas. We all love Russo had to wait four years for it and he’s a little bit above. OK nonexistent tonight to the point of being blocked by a tight end that was sobering your defense relies on four man pressure and you can’t get any. What’s sickening is you’re not gonna get any extra either same story as last year as this year as next year we’ll just outscore him with a pretty good run game and no downfield passing game with any league quarterback We have Mac Hollands as the number one receiver cannot get Chris Jones blocked. Do we not see a move to left defensive tackle before the quarterback sneaks? Why were we obsessed with getting one yard run a normal play? I thought Brady just got schooled the Chiefs have given up the most or second most Yards to tight ends receiving we’re told we have two good ones great maybe we use them nah Kyle has been inactive most weeks but yet we’re an injury to a corner away from him having to play in the championship game and there he is again in the playoffs. Why doesn’t Cook touch the ball in the final 10 minutes? How do you overrule the spot of a football when the players back is to you you have no idea where the balls at and there’s a 2 yard difference between where you are and where the other guy is How do you let a chief fan from Nebraska be their head referee I think Buffalo is 28th on third downs and continue to run the same stuff. Hell I know what defense they’re gonna be in this was Leslie Frazier‘s problem incredibly predictable. I know a lot of it is absolutely zero past rush but still try something different on third downs you’re not good at running what you think they are that was disappointing from a coaching perspective. I think cabbage is pretty smart . He got worked. your special teams can’t help but hurt you making the Chiefs drive the ball more than 30 yards maybe something happens league wide there’s some awful special teams. I don’t know if it’s the new kickoff, formations or teams not putting value in it or coaches who don’t belong in the league whatever the problem is with the bills. It’s gotta be fixed. They were horrible all year again. Special not that Tyler Bass we kept waiting for him to miss a kick that would cost us again and he never did the plan with that kind of pressure come through you gotta love it. Maybe we just shut up and let the guy play.
I'll say it: Brandon Beane needs to step the f*ck up this offseason. Seriously! How many high-round busts does he have on his record now? Elam, Kincaid, Coleman. All no-shows tonight and all contributed to this loss in BIG ways. The difference between the Chiefs and us is that Veach hits on draft picks all over the board. Beane does not.
Hollywood Bobby Babich is a joke ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,trys to play Mr Cool in all his interviews...........needs to be on the field lighting up his Defense and calling them out in person......................too many dumb penalties by the defense and way too many missed tackles................AJ Epenesa continues to be pushed around like a highschool freshman football player every game this year...............zero impact
Feeling optimistic for next year Bills were supposed to be bad, chiefs "looking bad" won 15 games I trust the front office and josh that we will get there one day and the future looks bright
Thank you ever single one of you who have watched and engaged with us through this show. I had an awesome season hanging out with all of you and talking my favorite thing, the Buffalo Bills!

This is on Joe Brady.....in the most critical moments the Bills pivoted from Cook, when they should have given him the ball.
Love the reference to Cody Alexnader. Having read his books and been on some of clinics, he is such a great reference for not only football knowledge but, for coaches.
I’ve seen my own high school kids get better based off his teachings

Hey Beane, how's that trade back: Worthy for Coleman working out OR for that matter Mahomes for Tre White?
Not as bad as Joe Schoeb and the NY Giants letting Barkley walk for NOTHING to thier division rival Philly Eagles.
We have very young and inexperienced coordinators. They will both continue to learn and improve.
Aaron, remember beanes press after Elam and he said something along the lines of you all wanted a CB and we got one. Thank you cover 1. Go bills.
Coach McDermott haters just kill me… he’s one of the best in the NFL. They’re contending every single year, even when they’re rebuilding. Firing him makes zero sense.
They gotta change something tho right?

@AreolaGrande94 well if they don't change coach maybe gm has to go

Your team is a simple puppet propped up by the league. Have fun with your asterisk threepeat.
Josh has had the last at bat two years in a row. It’s really all you can hope for against the Chiefs.
Obviously Bean needs to do better in the off season. Coleman can't separate.. Coleman had one little catch and Worthy had a playoff game. The end results are telling. Coleman is also 21 years old!
F the refs.
I’m gonna say something extremely controversial:
I think Terrel Bernard is Gabe Davis. A guy that can make big plays but also totally disappear
I agree to an extent. He definitely needs to get better in run defense! McDermott and Beane must create a defense that can stop the run in the playoffs or we will never win the big game!!
Really hope benford is okay. He looked really bad when he got up from the ground and on the cart.
Not nearly enough James Cook. Can't for the life of me figure out why they went away from him after his heroic drive
This sucks but we should be better next season with essentially everyone coming back plus more cap room than we’ve had in a while along with 3 picks in the top 62.

I've been saying that for over sixty years and counting now, but we'll get 'em next season......not hopeful!
Assuming we go 17-0 next year, because Josh Allen, 20 wins to go. Go Bills
"So much cheating. What can men do against such reckless rigging?"
- King Théoden, probably.
The Bills are badass. No shame for this team. Warriors.
LOL
Total reboot. We need a down the field receiver. Need better defensive ends. Miller better be gone. Need safeties. Other than that we good 😂
Not blaming anyone But just look at Andrew’s drop ( undeniably a top 5-10 te over the last several years) and kincaids drop. Sucks it came down to that play I don’t even know what my point is but just that great players can make plays you/they want back

Kincaid can't catch and Elam can't cover is the story of this one.
Yeah, coach smiley needs to go if any coach is to bale. He’s the only coach who’s played such a negative pivotal role in all of these playoff losses.
Don't really want to be thinking about the offseason but alas here we are.
