Lex back at it again. Another great and thorough review!
Yeeeaaah man! Good looking out!
I've got the Reloop Spin, the OMNI, & I used to have a Vestax portable too. Lol... mad love, big ups, and respex. This reminds me of the PT-01 build, almost identical, minus the colors difference....lol cool video, thinking of scooping one of these someday soon. But, I swear by my OMNI, or my modded out Reloop Spin....lol
As an Omni owner & lover, I’d love to see a shootout between the STX & Omni, as I really believe these are the two portablist unit frontrunners.
Yes STX is dope!
Great review! I hope you make that portable shootout vid. Curious to see what you think about this vs the omni. Im debating which one I wanted to buy.
Thanks!! Love your videos/reviews
Thanks for watching!

Link to portable shoot out!!!!!!!!
Great review on this and on the Omni.
Which one would you recommend?
I have a PT-01 that’s connected to a Raiden RPM100 mixer, but have been in the market for the Omni or the STX since they’re both all-in-one.
Thanks again!
Have you seen that Korg Handytraxx that’s coming out?
Yes I'm so glad I scraped up the extra biz to cop a STX.I was a diehard PT01 Head but features such as USB recording, ultra pitch, innofader included, and so on.STX asmuch as I was really mad cuz this community isn't that commercial so you really have to dig for info I bought 7 inch serato and still have yet other than get a Omni to use serato.I was completely disappointed when I opened my PT01 and found out it was a switch I had no clue.I literally bought 300.00 in upgrades for my first PT01 scratch I then bought a regular pt01usb and the external jd fader which tbh is my go-to between that and my scratch.i have to setups now I have one pt01usb and a PT01 scratch and a mini mixer for 45 sets.Im gonna buy another Stanton to go with my one I already have and have 2 45 setups but with the STXS I'm gonna get either a Raiden or Akai mixer
Hi, I’ve just bought the STX. When the crossfader is closed and the record is playing are supposed to hear any sound ?
hey great review, how is it for mixing purposes compared to the competition ? would you recommend it ? i'm getting tired of cdjs in the booth when i'm booked and this could be a loveley portable solution
I answered your comment here a month ago but I’m only now seeing it didn’t post for some reason?! Anyway, mixing on these will take a lot of babysitting but it’s fun if you’re in to that kinda thing. Check out my Omni review to see more about using portable decks to mix
I've heard about the fluttering of audio playback while using the slowest levels of ultra pitch and I got one with the same problem. Is there any remedy for this? Would a firmware update help this??.. i think not. Any ideas? It's the only problem with this otherwise great table, imo. Seriously, amy answers?
What dj software can you use with Stanton stx?
Are you supposed to hear any sound when the fader is closed ?
Does the vinyl audio from your STX filter out the lower frequencies? I wanted to sample 7” & 45s but noticed that the low end is missing as compared to my other standard turntables or the Bluetooth connection using the same songs.
I borrowed this STX for the review so I can’t test it currently, but I’m going to guess your missing fidelity is because of the stock cartridge/needle. The needle is fine for scratching but that’s about it. Look up Bihari Designs and check out the tonearm replacements they create for the STX!
Hello everyone. Is Stanton STX a good choice after a long break from scratching? I would like to recall techniques and learn something new
Far-out
At long last
Scratching while camping......or up a the lake BBQ in.....sold/lol
