    That drive is huge! It even makes the house look teeny tiny. What a lovely job you’ve done of that system too and the upside down issue was an easy fix.

    Just stumbled across your video. Many thanks, we need to get a new driveway put in, it's not nearly as big as this driveway however, it's big enough. You have given us plenty of ideas on how to incorp a few different hard landscaping materials together and showing how to lay this Gravel Grid System. Well done on showing the mistake easy done when you are thinking about multiple different things 👍🏻

    i believe the best way is to dig out enough dirt to place used tires down, but also cut the sidewalls on each side of the tire out then dump the gravel down, the tires will keep all the gravel in place, use cement blocks as borders all around. you will never ever get any pot holes and will last forever or until you dig up the gravel and tires.. it is so strong as well that you could driver an 18 wheeler over it with no problesm...just my 2 cents.. your job looks great thought...you will never get any rain water build up because the water will seep through with no problem as well..

    • @brickrightbuildinglandscaping
      @brickrightbuildinglandscaping  2 года назад +1

      Hi Mike
      Thanks for the advice yea we have done that ourselves. We knackered a makita mini disc cutter up all the plastic from drainage went in the motor a fried it didn't want to fry the sthil saw. Have you had any issue with the melted plastic on the blade or saw causing damage.?

    • @mikejames4271
      @mikejames4271 2 года назад

      @@brickrightbuildinglandscaping no, no problems at all. The plastic melts a touch where you cut through. Absolutely non sticks to the blade plus it's quicker and more accurate for radius cuts.
