Is stage seven the most difficult stage of the saga gradius?

I find the Stage 5 bosses more difficult. Stage 7 would be like running full speed uphill at the end of a marathon.

@@playyutu2430 By Spider do you mean the boss in stage 3 or 7?
If you are practicing on Normal difficulty, why not try Very Easy difficulty first? I found Gradius V so difficult that I set my goal to achieve 1cc on Very Easy first.
