What's cool with most newer games is "Low settings" doesn't look bad anymore. I remember when setting games to low was potato mode but now low looks like how medium used to meaning that lower end GPUs can still get a decent fidelity experience with solid perfomance.

Yes if they bring a game from PS4 or PS5 to Windows they have settings but they do very little to impact the look. They don’t see the need to cripple the game like older games. GTA5 can look bad which helps it run on more computers but with a bad experience.

I played GOW 2018 on an i5-6400 + GTX 1050TI build I got from my parents back in 2016, played well on Original settings 40-50FPS on average. Ragnarok I'm playing on a Ryzen 7 5700X + RTX 4060TI 16GB build that I bought with my own money from my first job this year, I remember the "thank God this game is well optimized for my old build" days, glad to see the GTX 1660TI is still holding up to these newer games.

Yeah… other than the fact you need a psn account, game is banned in over 100 countries and you can’t even play it on less then 6gb vram gpus because it’ll make Sony look bad.

Not at all. That 100 fps is with frame gen and fsr which makes the image quality noticeably worse. Also frame gen also increases input lag by a lot. So it may show 100 fps but while playing the game, the input lag would feel like 50-60 fps. Sony also made the game unsupported on 4 gb graphics cards which is insane. Even black myth wukong can run on 4 gb gpus so why cant this game do it? I would say it is pretty badly optimized.

1080p 60fps at low settings with 1660ti, and prefectly smooth frame rate is an nice score, game works fine and looks fine too tbh. It makes sense tho, game was made for playstation 4 after all, it makes sense it works on lower end hardware.
@@KarlikNos don't think so, it used to get +- 85 fps in 2018 god of war in 1080p low. This one is newer, looks a little bit better, they bumped everything up by a little bit, I think it's still decent performance.

It's funny to watch videos like this one, because most people out there have 1050ti, 1650 like me and we don't care about ghosting or shuttering we just enjoy to play 1080p everything low af haha, i can't wait to play with my 7900xtx, i don't even care about fps just to enjoy for the first time in years high resolutions and see how the graphics are looking on ultra haha

I have a gtx 1660 Ti OC and can say that if you play at 1080p, it´s like ps5 performance when at 1440p. It´s basically 1080p ps5 light. It can even do raytracing in games like bf v and doom eternal on low settings. I played control with raytracing at a locked 30 fps even.

This is actually weird. According to the requirement chart on Steam, 1060 6gb vram is the minimum requirement to run the game at 1080p Native Low settings. I think this game has a memory leak or something because this is not supposed to happen.
actually i found out that locking fps with fg can improve the experience a lot, even if it's 40 to 80, just lock your fps in the game to 40 or in rtss to 80 and it should be fine
hey kryzzp will you be testing out the lossless scaling software you can get on steam? It’s such a good tool you can use to pretty much download fps! edit- it also has a built in frame gen which you can toggle to double your fps, triple or even quadruple your fps 😁

There is a mod on Nexus that unlocks the game for gpu's with less vram than 6gb. The 1650 runs surprisingly decent for example. It will allow you to test older gpu's with the game so i hope you have a look at it. I did post a link on another vid but my comment was deleted for some reason. I was only trying to help?

Could the stuttering issue be because of negligence? Perhaps the developers didn't bother to test it on a 1660 or 2060 as it an old architecture and they really didn't care?
Well now I'm actually worried but also have hope that my rx 580 will give a playable experience I'm worried cuz the 1660ti is more powerful than the 580 without a doubt but then the 580 8gb which the version i have may really significantly benefits from the extra 2gb of vram so I'll wait for your benchmark and hope everything will be fine 😂

It usually starts quickly in 7 seconds, but there are times, not always, that the start takes a while, that is, it stays a few seconds too long on the screen. black and then in the last bios time it tells me that it is 13, the operating system is on a 480 ssd and I put the games on the 1 tb one but it kind of bothers me a little. Do you recommend that I take it to a service? technical?
Reminds me of way back when i played persona 5 strikers on my steam deck and it had a memory leak i got to the final boss and it crashed 😂 the game itself played perfectly fine up until that point
I don't think the awful frame time graph is because of the VRAM, people with a GTX 1650 using that mod to bypass VRAM check runs the game just fine from what I have seen.
The thing is that this particular area is not optimised,I was getting easy 60 on medium+high mix settings in midgard,then went to the dwarf's area and got around 30-45 with heavy stutter so I lowered my settings,then I went to alfheim and everything started working fine again,high-medium settings easy 60,even in ironwood I am getting 60,will visit vanheim tomorrow
How would the gtx 1070 do, with it being close in terms of performance but with more vram. It is also my gpu, so I would like to see it with this game.
Hello can you test the rtx 2070 please i have ryzen 7 2700 and rtx 2070 on low settings full optimized i have like 80/90 fps on Warzone and still feels stuttering sometimes i want to know if i need to upgrade the cpu and ram to have a better expérience, and of course thank you for you work bro you rock !
I have a feeling stuttering is not caused by the vram its probably something else maybe nvidia reflex is bugged and causes that like it was in Horizon forbidden west ?
This only shows that when devs treat FSR properly is so damn good and works like a charm!! Nvidia sponsored titles have CRAP implementations on purpose.

This game is solid man, such a welcome release compared to many others.
FSR 3.1 is amazing. It should be added to every game asap as it will help most gamers, not only the one's using Rtx 40 series.

1660 ti should be yielding 60 stable fps on medium native 1080p. They didn't optimize svartalfheim for sure.

FG is a life saver ! Use it, It literally gives around 30% performance boost and the image is better with it rather than using FSR Quality.

Prolly because it tricked the game to think that they had a 4090 or 24GB so it unlock the VRAM restriction in the game so no awful frametime graph.
