As clever as the reasoning for keeping young link in the same tier is, toon link has the shield from wind waker, the bow from wind waker, the hook shot from wind waker, the master sword(wind waker link is the only toon link who gets it) and the wind waker itself in his win animation and taunt. I’m pretty sure that the game itself also states he’s from wind waker specifically too.
Actually that's reasoning is kind of dumb. Since it's not stated which timeline the Young Link in smash bros is from, and PMJ's theory was proved wrong because Wind waker Link is from the adult timeline, the Young Link in smash could hypothetically go on to smash.
A further point to that is that he claims that since that there is only one zelda world that is used in smash that only one time line can be used, however a split in the time line doesn't exactly mean a different world at all. After all if we account for stages in smash bros how do we explain that the great sea, great bay, and the bridge of eldin all exist if only the fallen hero time line exist, plus the idea that botw takes place in the end of every time line may imply that at some point there may have been a merge in the time line before botw.
On the Sprit Tracks stage if Toon Link is playing, Alfonzo is the conductor of the train instead of Toon Link. Implying that it’s Spirit Tracks Link. Either or could work though.
Considering that Cuttlefish is 130+ and that the oldest human ever was 122, the inklings likely age differently from humans meaning Callie and Marie being his bio grandkids is still very likely and the inklings placement should be re-evaluated

So all the inklings could reasonably be anywhere from teens to their 20s or possibly more if age really does work very differently for them as Cap'n implies with his age. WIth all this said, it could still be said as "probably not" as it definitely seems like Agent 3 is still heavily doing their own thing by the events of Splatoon 3 which they appear (was that them? as far as my understanding goes 06 is kinda cannon because the events of it were erased from the timeline but Sonic, Elise, Mephiles, and possibly Blaze still remember the events of 06 but my theory as to why it's able to come back in Gens is because either Time Eater was digging in the trash bin of time and space to get these or they were taken from before the timeline wipe happens which is incredibly confusing.

If we connect Minnish Cap and WW, we have to go through the timeline anyway, and by that logic it wouldn't work since MC is right after Skyward Sword, and it would be ages to get to WW Link's hands. MC Link is also just referencing WW Link since that game came later, so I don't know if that works according to what Nintendo wanted for that timeline.

Actually, Viola IS the child of the Bayonetta from the first game. The Bayonetta from Bayonetta 3 is from another timeline and the wiki is talking about Viola from Bayo 3's perspective. (long story short, Bayo 3 did a bit of retconning and made it so all 3 Bayonettas are from different universes)
To add onto this, Bayo 3 is also confirmed to be the same instance of Cereza/ Bayo as the child Bayo 1 assisted in the first Bayonetta game. She's also the playable character in the game Cereza and the Lost Demon, which also stars an alternate version of the demon that Viola calls forth via her sword.

Wildwater toon link is the only version of toon link to use the master sword. Also the shield that he uses is from Windwaker. And he uses the wind water in a taunt. And the only stage in smash bros is from windwaker

However the characters that interacted and were there during the evnts of 06 has Deja vu from the events. So much so that it appears in generations as part of sonics memories.
The best description I have seen of this is that the timeline doesn't just erase a large part of itself like that, it just loops into an earlier part of itself and continues on. The events did happen, all of the characters (Except Mephiles and Iblis) just never experienced them personally after the timeline looped back.

And let's not forget that depending on the continuity, Sonic's birth name is either Maurice Oglive Hedgehog, Nicky Parleazer (probably spelled that wrong), or just Sonic. Then there's the world where he has siblings, the one where Tails fell in love with a plant girl, the one where Knuckles skips leg day... you get the idea. _Fortunately,_ only two actual games are incompatible with the rest of the games: Spinball and Fighters (both have more than 7 non-Master Emeralds), but they can at least be tied to the Archie timeline.

I think I know what clip your talking about, it's one of the earlier videos about smash ultimate to come out from nintendo and Sakurai, but those videos use translated subtitles, and the use of "worlds" is interchangeble with franchises.

No, Viola is not the child of Bayonetta 1. Viola's mother had guns called Withingham Fair, her in universe variant of Scarborough Fair. She is also refered to as "Bayonetta β0". The actual Bayonetta 1 is the one that still uses Scarborough Fair. Which might not be the one we played in Bayonetta 1. In Bayonetta 3, there are several points where events from past games are refered to, which indicates that the one we played in the past is the same we played in 3. The other two Bayonettas appearing at the end might just be random Bayonettas that happened to still stay in their looks from Bayonetta 1 and 2 respectivly. Point is, Bayonetta is still not confirmed to have rapid-crouched in the past.

As clever as the reasoning for keeping young link in the same tier is, toon link has the shield from wind waker, the bow from wind waker, the hook shot from wind waker, the master sword(wind waker link is the only toon link who gets it) and the wind waker itself in his win animation and taunt. Actually that's reasoning is kind of dumb. Since it's not stated which timeline the Young Link in smash bros is from, and PMJ's theory was proved wrong because Wind waker Link is from the adult timeline, the Young Link in smash could hypothetically go on to smash.
A further point to that is that he claims that since that there is only one zelda world that is used in smash that only one time line can be used, however a split in the time line doesn't exactly mean a different world at all. After all if we account for stages in smash bros how do we explain that the great sea, great bay, and the bridge of eldin all exist if only the fallen hero time line exist, plus the idea that botw takes place in the end of every time line may imply that at some point there may have been a merge in the time line before botw.
On the Sprit Tracks stage if Toon Link is playing, Alfonzo is the conductor of the train instead of Toon Link. Implying that it’s Spirit Tracks Link. Either or could work though.

Considering how the various idols look at 21 (Pearl) 18 (Marina) and other similar ages, I would imagine it's purposely left to interpretation of the player as part of the immersion factor. So all the inklings could reasonably be anywhere from teens to their 20s or possibly more if age really does work very differently for them as Cap'n implies with his age.

Actually, Viola IS the child of the Bayonetta from the first game. The Bayonetta from Bayonetta 3 is from another timeline and the wiki is talking about Viola from Bayo 3's perspective. (long story short, Bayo 3 did a bit of retconning and made it so all 3 Bayonettas are from different universes)

No, Viola is not the child of Bayonetta 1. Viola's mother had guns called Withingham Fair, her in universe variant of Scarborough Fair. She is also refered to as "Bayonetta β0". The actual Bayonetta 1 is the one that still uses Scarborough Fair. Which might not be the one we played in Bayonetta 1. In Bayonetta 3, there are several points where events from past games are refered to, which indicates that the one we played in the past is the same we played in 3. The other two Bayonettas appearing at the end might just be random Bayonettas that happened to still stay in their looks from Bayonetta 1 and 2 respectivly.

Sakurai was MOST LIKELY referring to franchises, not worlds. In any case, if BOTW is 'at the end of all timelines (maybe)' you disproved your own argument since BOTW Link is in Ultimate... This brings up the question of if all timelines end up as BOTW, or do they somehow all happen to converge into BOTW?? Also, you used an outdated timeline, a new one doesn't even include BOTW or TOTK and says "The timeline can be interpreted in many ways" which basically nullifies any fucking deliberation that could be made over any timelines. Just say there's a 1/3 chance that Young Link has if you want to say that it's possible for any 3 timeline to be the one that smash takes place in. Or retroactively say, "The versions of the characters you play as are virgins." and keep your dub.

As many others have pointed out, the toon link in smash has many references to the legend of Zelda the windwaker, so toon link should be moved up to certified boinker, and that also proves that the Zelda world encompasses all timelines, not just fallen hero, this doesn't necessarily prove that young link in smash is from the child timeline though, but they could go down any of the 3, which would be a, they could be kadonkers, but young link's neutral b in smash shows him using a bow and arrow, which he can't do as a child in ocarina of time, but can do in majora's mask, this means that young link in smash must have been through majora's mask, which is on the child timeline, this means that he later went on to kadoodle, because of the confirmed descendant he has, that should move him up to certified boinker
