Saw this live Des Moines Iowa It was killer Watch how hard he hits those drums Beats them to death All that spinning after chugging a bottle of Jack Daniel's and maybe something for his sinuses
I was at this show....and it was amazing....he did this twice in the show because they were filming footage for the wild side video.....go check that out.
The house engineer that taught me live sound was the engineer that designed the cable rigging that made Tommy's riser to be able to roatate. Sadly a few years ago his life went down a dark path.
I saw him do that live :D Although, that is the Girls, Girls, Girls drum solo, here in Australia he used that spinning cage and did the same drum solo during the Dr. Feelgood tour.
I saw it live several times. It’s pretty fucking awesome. The whole show is fucking awesome. Tommy Lee is an amazing drummer. So underrated. Dick of human being, but great drummer.
First time seeing Tommy play the drums, have saw his other movies😂 Everyone to there own, but he not for me,did he have an organ or something playing along in his solo. Take care everyone.
March 26 1990. I was with my girlfriend at the Civic Center in Augusta when Tommy did this stunt. After he finished he either slid or repealed down a rope towards the staged then mooned the crowd. That was my 15th Crue concert since 1982.
Saw it live July 12, 1987 in Des Moines, that shows on youtube as well, It was a spectacle and while it wasn't the best concert musically speaking, It was the craziest, it was general admission at Vets and I saw exactly what you'd expect to see at a Crue Show at the time. Tommy Aldridge from Whitesnake had an insane Solo as well, His was actually technically better, best pair of solos I was lucky enough to witness live.
It may be fast but it's off, on the other hand your timing seems right on, which means you are above him in the rankings .He definitely not up there with the best, he's good but you are better.
I’m not really a Tommy Lee fan. He was the best thing about Motley Crue when I sat through them as opening act. Anyway. Yeah man. Billy Cobham here at 65. Way more inventive. To me anyway. ruclips.net/video/nC0QUrya3eA/видео.html
Tommy is underrated. Other musicians know how great he is
Seen this exact concert in September 1987 with Motley Crue, Whitesnake and white lion on Motley Crue Girls Girls Girls tour. Awesome show
I saw this concert back in 1987 in Albany Georgia with guns and roses. Great show

I never got to see that tour. I did see them on the farewell tour where he was on a rollercoaster playing. That was pretty sick!
Tommy is one of the best showman I’ve seen. The Girls Girls Girls tour was insane
Tommy Lee is superhuman, yes!.
Love that guy.
This was during the 1987 Girls Girls Girls tour. I saw this tour in Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto Canada. It had Whitesnake as openers.

Say what you will about Tommy Lee but he can drum
In my circle we call him Tommy Slop. Weak and sloppy.
Tommy is not even in my top 100.
Good show, but weak drumming
meh
