Franklins is known for the brisket being excellent like every time, but it’s a huge hassle. The sides are just okay to me. But I don’t wait hours in line so it’s only for catered affairs. There are other places. It just depends on if you just want regular down home Que or if you want barbeque with a twist….different seasonings and rubs. Just google best ones in Austin and then google best black owned cuz they don’t always want to give us our due.
