Clearest demonstration of putting a clock in beat that I've seen on RUclips. Thanks!

What a great and very helpful video! I fixed a Grandmother clock that has not worked in years. The crutch on it was more of a flat rectangular piece of brass versus a round metal rod. I had to hold it tight at the top with one pair of needle nose pliers while using another needle nose pliers to bend it clockwise. I got luck and hit it perfectly on my first attempt. I leveled the clock with a digital level to 0 degrees and it sounds and works great.
    Thanks again.

Thank you John for showing me how to adjust the crutch and how to make an adjusting tool. This video was very helpful and informative.

It would have been nice if you had zoomed in towards the mechanism. Thanks for doing these

The clock should be leveled before any adjustments are made.

It should be pointed out, that not all crutch adjustments require bending.

Yes, there are some other variations.
