  • Since I'm no longer able to do home-recordings, I'll share some drumcam footage from liveshows I did with my Rammstein tribute band 'Vannstein'.
This one was recorded last year in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden.
    Enjoy!

You've come a long way, Tim! So nice to see you doing your thing. I was curiously looking through covers of Keine Lust and stumbled upon this one without seeing it was you and when I realized it was you it all made perfect sense! Cheers from Texas, much love and respect.

Honestly, I’ve lost respect for you. Reason being is that your band is literally trying to be Rammstein when you should just be a cover band. You don’t need to steal the outfits and copy their show. That’s just not true to being a fan of someone’s work.

Hi Tux, thanks for your comment. I respect your opinion. Some do understand (and like) the concept of tribute bands and some don't. But let me elaborate:
First of all: We don't 'steal' their stuff, we 'bought' it. Rammstein's management is involved and is keeping an eye on our business. (Yes, we're a legit company). They do allow us to do these shows in exchange for royalties (depending on the size of the crowd) and some rules we have to keep us to.
Secondly, the tribute-business is huge. It's a matter of supply and demand. Don't forget that many people aren't able to get or can't afford tickets to see a famous band. Tribute bands are supplying them with a miniature version of the show for a fraction of the cost. (this is an old video by the way, we expanded our show and build an entire new stage the next year).
Sure for some bands there would be no much difference in being a tribute or just a cover band... but in Rammstein's case..??.. Playing their songs in casual clothes, no industrial stage, no fire, no props... it's just not the same.
People at our shows are having a great time, the responses are great (also from people who have seen Rammstein itself many times!), we are doing what we love while making some money both for ourselves and Rammstein as well as creating some new Rammstein-fans.. . It's a win-win-win.
If you don't like, feel free to not come see us and stick to making reaction videos... talking about profiting on their work, right? Just kidding ;-)
      Have a good sunday!

poor sound and technique unfortunatly :/ still unsubed because of your kurenai drum cover which was an insult to the band
