Coop is (eventually) coming. Traditional multi-player (pvp) is very unlikely, as the devs have stated balancing would be nearly impossible, and trying to figure out how to allot tanks in a way that would make sense and be fun is difficult in a game like this.
War thunder has come a long way since I started playing in 2016 and your lucky to have it. The game is so good just wish they would add UI for sim and mix nations so it's not just China and Russia against every single nation.
Gaijin puts a LOT of love into their game. WT as a game is GOOD. The problem is that it's an online game with heavy focus towards GRIND in order to get as much money from the players. If WT was a single player game with campaigns, custom missions and multiplayer, it would have ZERO competition.

The AI shouldnt be able to see through thick tree lines. In a lot of missions they basically have xray vision and 1 tap me when i shouldn't be visible even on IR due to the trees being shined upon by the sun Edit: This was supposed to be a light hearted comment and not a foundation for a battlefield in the comments 🫤

Basically you get an adrenaline rush by seeing your potential target, and a way to imitate that could be for ex. when they see you they will wait for 1-2 seconds before firing. This should also maybe depend on a potential difficulty setting, where the higher the difficulty, the faster the AI response is
they might have decided to not include it since the T-64A is already in-game also the number of T-72s built with the TPD-2-49 rangefinder was quite small and when the TPD-K1 entered service older T-72s started to be retrofitted with the newer sight
they could have been czech produced with laser rangefinders. Besides, the laser rangefinder is simply slapped on top of the old rangefinder, its not an entirely new FCS.
TPD-K1 laser gunsight-rangefinder began to be installed on original T-72s (obj. 172M) in limited quantities in 1976, and as standard equipment since 1978.
There are two things I'd like to see - but I acknowledge these are extremely unlikely. The first is some new objectives and models for them. Like a battery of 9K52 Luna-M (Frog-7) rocket launchers have been detected by recon - break through with all haste before they can launch! Or interdict a convoy transporting SAMs, over-run a forward command outpost and its forest of antennas, and protect our forward air resupply point from an enemy attack. I would also like to see the Developers create a resource package kit so they can license the engine to others. They are laser focused on 1985 Fulda gap, while so many others comment on how the engine would work for 1950s tech, or want to see the latest models of M1A2 and T-90. So make paralel production possible via the interested modders to have alternate games based on this engine. Yeah this probably involves a lot of lawyers, patents and copyrights so I wouldn't hold my breath - but seeing this tech for India-Pakistan conflicts, or some sort of Theoretical South American armored clash seems neat.
The first one seems like a cool objective idea. The game engine uses Unity, which is already a popular game engine. As for the theatre, fulda gap is the first one as they continue to develop the game core. There may be DLCs in the future that will cover different places.

My issue with GHPC is it just feels disjointed. No tactics really. The enemy just rushes so does team AI. It needs more that’s more cat mouse hiding waiting style missions😊

No game has done what War Thunder is capable of YET, but give it some time and this will become Gaijin's competitor for sure. I'm just glad they're going to have some market competition. Maybe this will kick some sense into Gaijin and improve their game instead of milk it to death... Keep supporting the devs!!!

if they did ww2 every tank would play like the T-55 in-game this means the verity of FCS's showed in-game and how the vehicle's that use would play differently to one another would be very limited compared to the current Fulda gap 1985 setting also ww2 has been done death while barely anything does cold war stuff
All well and good but its just the same tanks on the same tiny map flighting the same repetitive battles. Steel Fury is a much better game at this point and it was released in 2010! The devs in Gunner HEAT seem to be putting all their efforts in the wrong place (building more tanks) when they should be focusing on expanding the world variety, adding troops and ways to create realistic battles not small skirmishes. At this point its not worth buying the game because after about 5-6 battles you've done basically everything there is to do in the game.
they have been working on infantry for the lest two mouths where just not ready also look at the roadmap forehead it's has expanded campaign on there and the game is in early access so ya of course the game is going be incomplete. do i really have to tell you that ? steel fury was not
@@samargrewal929 yes but there's one map even the last item on the roadmap multiplayer shows the exact same map so its basically a sandbox where you repeat the same mission on the same map just with different tanks. There isn't much strategy or planning or solid goals in the game other than drive to one area shoot tanks or BMPs with different optics or weapons and repeat.

If this was War Thunder the entire war would be lost thanks to invincible BMPs popping M1 tanks with their machine guns from across the map.

It would be nice to have the ability to set waypoints for all friendly units and groups.
