  • Please turn on HD for viewing if possible. I think the pictures look much better. This is the Fort Hill project in Marietta. I believe it's the first project built in Marietta and the last standing project also. Marietta has torn down all other projects in the city just like Atlanta.

This was a friendly and lovely community. I delivered the medicine to many elderly that lived here. The best folks on earth. My Granny lived right up the street in the High Rise Bldg for the elderly. We had lunch there every day. My brother went to Lemon Street School for 6th grade. They should have never closed that school. Or Many of the old elementary schools in Marietta. They were kept in top notch shape and some of my fav childhood memories were in Marietta.

Memories! We lived in the projects down the street and many of my mom's friends lived in Fort Hill. We used to go down there all the time, especially in the summer me and my friends would play in the library that was inside the projects and play on the concrete lot out back of the library while our moms used the computers. This was from like 1995 to when massive waves of people moved out in the late 2000s. My mom's friends scatteres all over the place to Section 8 apartments

This wasn't a rough spot...it's right next to the police station. It was the oldest spot though. Check out the video of Marietta public housing and look for Louisville Homes. That was the rough spot.

Way down Lemon St...haha.....It's no more than two blocks away.....you probably can't see it beyond those 200,000$ townhomes right across the street from Roosevelt. You wouldn't recognize me if you saw me, Kente Cloth. Know this though I don't have a problem with folks from Marietta. I used to stay on Franklin Rd. I got mad love for Marietta for real. All folks are saying is that it's not as dangerous as the projects in Atlanta. Don't let it hurt your feelings so badly.

I see you reppin for Marietta pretty hard......I meant what I said about it not being as rough. Nothing in Marietta can or could compare to Atlanta's hoods. Know that. Roosevelt Circle ain't what it used to be in the 90's. You stay next to the police station and the whole hood got fixed up. I drove through it every time I reported to probation. Take the talk somewhere else boss.

Are you talking about the old Hidden Glen apts?
Kente, I don't respect the shit talking but I do respect the passion you have for reppin Marietta. I hope you back your mouth up in real life and this is not just an internet facade, also I hope you get even more angry when out-of-towners disrespect Marietta because I know they test yall out there. I hope you put them in their place.

If it were Chinese, the place would have been spotless, self-supporting and crime free.
If it were Jewish, the library would have been packed and the majority of the students would have received scholarships. Crime would be zero.
If it were Vietnamese, Cambodian, Thai, Laotian, Korean or any of the numerous immigrant groups that come here for a better life, it would have been a healthy and vibrant place.
But instead we have a culture laden with parasitic intent. It has no color or creed. Sad
