Eric, I love the show. I have so enjoyed it over several years now. Thanks so much for what you do. So many people think corporate America and a good office job are the things to strive for. I found that I much prefer working with my hands. I laid brick, block and stone for 30 years. It could be very tiring, but it was always satisfying to see the finished product that you knew could last generations.

I love these videos and how he shows us who the person is just as much as what they do.

Of all of the episodes I've seen does a little bit of magic that Eric has, he lets the person talk. He has wonderful questions he looks them in the face with a wonderful questions and it's perfect. Especially after the third season it's just like he's falling into everything perfectly. No flash no bangs nothing blowing up just a nice story like you're sitting around the table with him yourself . He has a John Denver kind of personality.

Amazing show, i never knew that sand could be turned into steel. You should add a link to Tims site just incase someone is wanting to purchase a hand crafted knife made by him.

Vikings would pull a lodestone over a river bottom to pick up iron particles and work up a blade from that.

That's a craft that I've done a couple of times but never felt I was that great at, tho I did make myself a patch cutting knife with deer antler handle for my muzzle loader
