My 9 year old and I finished up his little league football game at noon and took off to make part of game in person. Turned on the radio and we were already down by 21. If it wasn’t for the boy I would’ve just gone home. 😂 *we made it before halftime and stayed until the very end.
I went to the game. Showed up a couple min late, and when we got to the gate, the score was 7-0. By the time we got to our seats, it was 21-0. That's freaking crazy.

Well at least the offensive line was there to help Jackson Arnold up off the turf after he was sacked. The o-line spent most of the day standing around watching Arnold get sacked. Some fine coaching there.
That walk on receiver has the most receiving yards in a single game this year. I'm wondering if there are more guys on the sidelines that should get more playing time considering how much most of the starters don't produce.

I saw one good explosive play Jackson Arnold to Brennan Thompson in the end zone. That was a really good one but our old line can’t block for shit are tight ends and running backs can’t block for shit that’s a coaching problem, so Betenbough, Seth Luttrell Ivan heard that Seth Luttrell doesn’t come in and even talk to the guys after the game or even before the game they need some leader ship from the coaches, I know Venables is coaching them up trying to, but then offensive coordinator not coming in and talking to his guys. OU grad; was a student witnessing the strength of the 74 and 75 teams. I was in the stands for the Blake years; this is even worse. We can’t recruit to this offensive nightmare; the only positive going right now is the defense. Venables has to show recruits he is addressing the problem right now and clean house on the offensive staff. Otherwise he’s going to poison the entire team.
I started going to games in 1964 as an OU freshman. This team reminds me of the Gomer Jones teams. Jones was the assistant to Bud Wilkinson. When Bud retired Gomer became the head coach. The 2024 team is the worse than the Gomer Jones teams. Gomer died of a heart attack attending the NIT tournament in NYC. Jim Mackenzie was hired and after his first season Jim died of a heart attack. Those were very bleak years for OU football.
Again, I'll keep saying it... After Riley, the program went for sentimentality hires. That includes Brent... And then Brent compounded the same problem: heart over head. You hire the best possible, not the feel good story.

He has been at OU 11 years. There is no "Competitive depth" on this OL roster Of the 21 O Linemen, 13 are freshmen 2 sophomores 1 Jr. 5 transfers. Why?
