You can adjust depth of grooving tool without disconnecting from power source but to use gauge you need to do it?

Hi Dominic, The RG1200 is designed to groove only carbon steel pipe. Our two most common copper grooving tools are the VE26 and VE226 roll grooving tools. Here’s some more info on each:
