Yunqing’s Music of Mengsong is so good I genuinely smile so big every time I steep it. I’m already planning on getting more tea cake caddies to accommodate my addiction
To me, the bent bow cake is stronger and longer lasting. The mengsong has a deeper, richer, and more unique flavor, but isn’t as strong, and it doesn’t last as long.
Do a video about oolong! I always got it at a locally owned Chinese food place and it tasted better than anything I've ever had from a store. They closed and all I know is it was an oolong. Id give anything to have that tea again...
I found it weird that you seems to never mention Fenghuang Dancong, it's a very good Oolong from Canton region, it's single tree tea with very strong honey like fragrance and sweetness but at a fraction of the cost of similar tea like Oriental beauty.
Just got a 98 puerh in the mail from a friend... it's fishy ah. After first 2 steeps or mellows and is quite nice. But man it is a fish market first couple
Depends, usually red or black tea could withstand some aging, but not so much for half fermented tea like oolong and darjeeling (despite being categorised as red tea, it's actually half fermented).
You see when he dumps the first 'wash' steep out onto his tea table and tea pets? Some tea tables - like yours - have a pump and hose so you can siphon that wash from in the reservoir in your tea table, down into a bucket or something under the table. It means that you can keep drinking tea without having to move all your cups, gaiwan, tea pets, etc. to go and dump the water out
@@krysab6125 Thanks 🙏. I'm having some tea with my dad right now and I was sure to give the first wash to the free lil rabbit they gave. Super happy with everything except that the bamboo tray was moldy af. Cleans easy though.

Am I supposed to start counting the seconds for steeping once the water hits the tea or when the gaiwan is filled? Love your videos!!
I go through 2-3 grams per sesh myself... Oops we talking abput tea!?
Those leaves are older than me
Geez…you’re young.
@@internet_internet I'm 17, so I guess you are right🤷

So... if I have an unopened bag of loose tea, will it go bad or lose flavor?? I think they're both greens tea if that helps
I think he's said before that aging green tea doesn't help.
@nunyabidnes6010 oh oof I wasn't paying enough attention and missed that part. My bad 😅

What exactly is the tube and the pump that came in my tea set? 😂

What about aging red teas?
Not recommended. Aging any tea is hit and miss really.
