Pokémon Horizons: The Series known as Pocket Monsters is the ninth part of Pokémon the Series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation IX games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet within the Paldea Region. The series shares its Japanese name with Pocket Monsters (1997 series) and Pocket Monsters (2019 series). This new series focuses on the two protagonists Liko and Roy.

I think they’ll go with the “we sent you away to protect you” story and then eventually shift to Paldea in the later half of the series

@Jane ♡ Her family is from Kanto thats why the went to the school in Kanto and she is going to the same school her parents went to but she(Liko) was born and raised in Paldea.
For the Starter Pokemon.
This time they don't use the traditional choose 1 from 3 Pokemons metode, but more like in Mystery Dungeon game.
The Rotom-Pad scene in 2:11 is the interview, the Professor ask some question and then you get the Pokemon that suit your personality. Then 2:34 those are the Starters that already choosen by the Professor based on the interview, the silver plate in front of the Pokeballs is the Student's name, so the reason why she directly takes that pokeball just because she reads her name there, lol

The idea to add this metode to the anime is really good tbh, because this break the Region wall like how Ann a Kanto resident get Oshawott a Unova pokemon because of their matching personality.
It was clean episodes loved every moment Amethio literally feels like Paul & Alain mixed together but just maybe more evil guess we’ll see!!!
Also can’t wait to see Roy he seems so fun plus I also wanna say Friede reminds me of Kukui too!!

I really enjoyed the first two episodes, and can't wait to learn more as the series progresses!
I enjoy how perceptive Liko is shown to be, with her being suspicious of Amethio and running away with the pendant as soon as she's out of his view (it's so refreshing, compared to how often Ash would just blindly trust a disguised Team Rocket), Friede seems like he'll be really fun and cool, I love his personality already, and I'm interested in the motives of the Explorer group and Amethio, he feels a bit young to be the apparent leader of the new villain trio?
I'm already more invested in this than I've been in Ash's journey in years, here's hoping the rest of the series is just as solid.

Every time it says “To be continued…” your reaction really shows how hyped you are 😂 I love this series a lot! The characters are all so diverse and interesting with their own unique roles for the Volt Tacklers
So by the end of the episode they've been in class for several months. I have a feeling that most of this series will take place during that first long break from classes. I Japan The semester starts in the Spring, so most of this series is happening over summer break.
I caught on to that later on.
The legend himself Freide and he's rocking a pickachu and charizard got my stamp of approval 💯

An amazing start to Horizons things are just going to keep getting better from here on out for the anime. The anime gives off the impression of a mini Pokémon anime series like Pokémon Generations and Twilight wings. Music great scene with the Moon in the sky Friede flying on his Charizard with Liko. Already an impressive great start to a new anime series. Definitely want more of Horizons. The battles of Friede vs Amethio bangers. Artwork and animations to clean.
Captain Pikachu in the house so cool. Friede is like an adult Ash so much Enthusiasm would like them both to meet each other but unlikely to happen. Infamous same want to know Amethio's full team Corviknight a surprise member this guy has a Villainous personality.
The fact tht they were able to choose the perfect starters for each student based off of their interviews is amazing... from these 2 episodes i love liko charcter alot.. this is going to be great
It might be a type overlap, but honestly, if Amethio has a little red in his drip design....

Without subs, it's pretty hard to understand, but I honestly loved every single moment of this premiere
The one thing Liko needed to do for us is to be different from Ash, and they nailed that.
She seems more reserved, a bit more studious on how she interacts with Sprigatito, and she has an interesting arc developing around her
I hope they can do the same for Roy, but I am genuinely excited to see where Horizons goes from here
True but subs takes time to come out but suprisingly if you watch enough Pokemon you get the base line of whats happening. I think its great so far!

I watched both episodes online and I've honestly really enjoyed them
I felt episode 1 a little to quick about the school but to get into the second episode with the voltstrucker was worth it. I love the feeling of adventure from it.
Fun fact:
Pokemon legends arceus got me back in the game since crystal.
Pokemon Scarlet got me back in the anime since the third series if I can recall correctly lol

Amethio Pokémon are very knight themed with Ceruledge and Corviknight
Possible other teammates are Aegislash, Kingambit, Iron Valiant, Gallade, Escavalier and/or Sirfetch'd
Wonder if have him tied to Wikstrom later and his training camp
Pikachu did use Double Team back in some of the early seasons

The first two episodes are already better than most of Journeys. I know that isn't saying much but trust me it's good.
Also funny how people were complaining about Kanto and the lack of Paldea. When it looks like they are ditching Kanto as fast as possible, with hints of a big Paldea arc coming in the future.
I chose Sprigatito as my starter when I started Violet that was way before this series and I'm glad and looking forward to what other adventures await!!
For scarlet i chose the fire croc and violet i chose sprig and the move coverage and stats are pretty good

I'm actually looking forward to following Limo's Journey. And the animation is crisp too. Surely thr masters 8 deserved this type of animation throughout.

Amethio's team must be mostly black and purplish edgy pokemon. So I've looked them up and here are some promising members for his team.

- hydreigon
- umbreon
Obstagoon is also edgy looking but it doesn't fit amethio's dark gentlemen vibes.

I love this series and I love Liko and Spigatiito I was wrong about the show I thought I wasn't going to like it or watch it because Ash and Pikachu wasn't in the amine but the second trailer convinced me to watch it and now I love it since I watched last Saturday but I haven't seen the second episode I didn't know that both episode 1 and 2 were released together. I love Ceruledge too.

I think my only 2 issues would be that the school is set in Kanto(should be Paldea) and that Friede has Charizard, not Armarouge. We could've had an awesome Armarouge/Ceruledge rivalry

This reminds on a different level of Avatar vs. Korra where after Aang and his journey, ofc u would need to get a new Avatar and there was a lot of differences being compared to them and the first 2 episodes they were like nah, Aang ain't here, I'm nothing like Aang. This show pretty much said the same thing. They took a completely different approach and it was great. It feels like a real purpose to Pokemon, not just random things happening and then they try to fight gyms or whatever. There is a real storyline, while having what you still love about Pokemon, the characters and all the smoke. I need a 6 v 6 already of Professor Friede and Amethio like in the next episode.
