LEGO Ministry of Magic Modular Reviewed & Placed!

Today I built and placed a modular building using the parts from The Ministry of Magic set! This alternate build converts the 990 display set into a half-baseplate building that is compatible with the other modular buildings. The Ministry of Magic Modular building looks pretty amazing. In my opinion the modular building is/looks better than the original Lego Ministry of Magic building.

The telephone box may look better in place of the custom one. Also the fountain on the roof could be a good addition to the diagon alley entrance

Nice MOC. I picked up this set for $60 CAD on the Costco website! It normally goes for $90 on their site, but then they had one of their once in a blue moon sales, so I scored this one.

I was able to pick this up on clearance at Walmart over the summer 50%. Don't like the original build haven't even opened it yet, may need to do this one. Some nice parts, wish I bought a couple sets now

Didn't get the Ministry jet because I found it too expensive and too strange to have a good idea what to do with it. But considering Brick Artisan's MOC and your really nice placement in your city combined with the reduced price - I might become week...
