Went to Honda dealership and they told me 2800 to change out the tranny for one from a salvage yard to be warrantees for 90 days. dafuq? sooooo, I scrutinized the system. And I came up with a fix and a fact. fact: automatic transmissions are designed and engineered to perform even as their parts degrade and fail. fix: drain 1 quart of old tranny fluid, add 8-16 oz laquer thinner to tranny fluid reservoir,...start, warm up, shift thru ALL gears multiple times. set drain pan, drain all contents of tranny reservoir. replace drain plug. refill with new. repeat 3x. trust me. please dear lord trust me. after you have checked all solenoids n stuff 9x over, run some laquer thinner thru it.
