Daniel Craig you gotta catch the cat first. Much more agile and quick, they are extremely effective stealth hunters. Dog had no idea where the cats were coming from half the time. Either way they were all just playing with each other my cat plays the same with me chases then stops when he gets to me.

while cats are hunter. and they hunt alone, from the smallest cat the rusty spotted, street cat, cheetah, up to tiger are all hunt alone, but lion, because lions usually hunt in pack/pride too

Oh the cats are playing too. It's obvious they know her and are having a good time. None of their "attacks" are serious. They haven't swiped at her or hissed at her at all.
Armed NotTriggered the first one (the rolling cat i think) is hissing at the dog a lot and really chasing her but the other one are playing for sure 👍🏼

I feel like D'Artagnan's Girlfriend was actually playing with the dog, while the Rolling Cat was actually trying to chase it off (hence her hissing)
I agree. D'Artagnan's girlfriend had at least one opportunity to ambush the puppy and stopped dead when she realized he hadn't seen her.
I also found it interesting that it was the female cats chasing him. The males just watched him.

I love this! The dog loves the game, the cats pretend not to, but they get to play/defend, they get something different from their normal day-to-day activities, and we all get a good laugh! They're all playing. There have been many times when cats could have scratched the dog but they didn't, like this one 2:41 .
Yea the cats are just doing what cats do and that includes showing this dog(who just wants to play) who's boss but as you rightly say the cats have no intention of taking this to another level and of course the dog understand that.
CDEbFGAbB Dartangnon’s Girlfriend (the black and white) might be playing, I’m not so sure about the Rolling Cat (calico). She’s hissing at the dog pretty consistently, and her ears at the beginning are swiveled to show she’s annoyed. I don’t think she feels threatened...more of a territory dispute, since she doesn’t keep chasing her once the dog goes back to her own yard.

Yeah, I mean they are annoyed, but still basically playing. Like the scene at 2:41 you pointed out - the cat stopped because the dog was turned around and couldn't see him. It's no fun if the dog doesn't spazz out and run away.
a typical win-win situation: the friendly dog looks like he has very much fun, the cats have some excitement.
Our cat also used to play with the neighbours dog like this ("dog tries to enter , cat withstands dog bravely") , when the dog sadly died, cat was obviously missing its buddy (also the cat would have been refused empathically the term "buddy").
The cat was waiting several days for the dog's visits after realizing it was gone...for us, it was very sad to watch.
I took my little cat Boots to the vet since he was behaving oddly. Checked his eyes and found massive tumour growing into his brain and put him to sleep right away because the pain must have been awful causing the behaviour. Went home with empty cat carrier and totally gutted. A couple of weeks later I mistakenly called one of the other cats Boots. All three of their heads swung round in unison and looked at the door. I couldn't handle it. They know. They know.

I can assure you that any cat bunny chicken or goat are toys to cocker spaniels 😂I have an English cocker and she thinks all cats are available for playtime. She wags her tail happily when a cat hisses her or is ready to jump on her neck lol. All cats hate her but she loves them it's so funny😂same with any dog too
