advice for mid to late game! most people know this, but its important to share this because some people dont! in the undershed, following along the right theres a spot to jump to with a dandelion tuft; jump there and go back up the hanging part to get back onto the tube theres an exposed pipe with a coin in it, inside that coin-pipe is a BUNCH of scarabs that CANT run away underground because they arent on dirt!!
Nice vid! Thx for shoutout! Here’s some tips for hucking the sprigs. 1. Animation cancel which allows u immediately attack right after your attack combo is finished without the cooldown before u can attack again because of its slow combo. 2. Get right up in their face when throwing because they’ll be stunned anyways and u have multiple sprigs to parry. Also when ur far the spiky sprigs could richochet across the world because of reasons. Hucking it close up will ensure u can immediately pick it up if u run out of spiky sprigs. Also I disagree with changing from red ant armor to rotten bee armor. With red ant armor we take 65 damage and with rotten bee we take 68. That’s not that much of a difference but it really scales up the more damage we take. But at the same time we should just go for acorn armor in the first place tbh.
One thing that i think is pretty obvious but everyone should know is to practice perfect blocking. I would say start out small with something like a soldier Ant, then work your way up to something of the likes of a ladybug and spiders. Even if you die fighting its still good practice for enemies later on in the game. Really good video!🎉 keep up the great content! 😊❤
the spiky sprig is pretty op, in speedruns people use it to just throw stuff at bosses like pebblet spears. you can do the same with red ant clubs but they're more costly but take less,i think its 3 or 4
Best weapon for early game is the pinch whacker. A new player probably won't know about it and you won't find it if you don't know exactly where it is. But for your second or further games it's a huge jumpstart. And you can get it in the first in-game days.
I'm just starting this Grounded dame, and I found your other guides useful, but this one left me a bit confused since you go over lots of things that you assume everyone knows, I followed your guide until killing the ladybugs, but now I need berry leather, and you skipped straight to killing spiders idk why, never crafting the things you said in the beginning you could get. Can you please clarify a bit, thx
Of course! So you can get berry leather from the berries that are located at the hedge (by the house). You need a bow and some arrows to shoot them down. Sorry if the guide was a little confusing. I'm glad you reached out! If you have any other questions, just comment on my videos! I'll get back to you soon enough.
@@AstroNerdGames thank you! the last thing you mentioned was a tier 2 axe, but in the video you never talked about it again, can you pls clarify that part?
@anrojoo Sure! So the tier 2 axe is the next level axe you're gonna want to get soon. If you have the lady bug armor, you should have unlocked the recipe for it. Check your crafting menu. It will be created at the workbench. You're gonna need silk rope. You can make it by killing orb weavers for their web fiber and it's crafted with a spinning wheel.
Practice... A lot of practice and time in the game. The creatures all have specific attack patterns and if you study them long enough, you too can block them!
