Buzzing the Tower 6.3.24

FIRST FLIGHT AFTER THE ENGINE REBUILD! IT WAS PERFECT! Finally put together a perfect flight! EVERYTHING went perfectly...somewhat! Freeman Swank was mowing when I got there and he stayed until I safely got off the ground. Launch, landing, landing gear retraction process, engine ran great too. Even the GoPro MAX 360' worked to perfection. Set-Up went smooth - about 1 hour. Ground test produced 8,910 rpm. Lost about 1,000 rpm during WOT climb though...hmm? Great FB live-stream too. Flew over Heart Hill Event Center & Jeremy Riddles and waved to them out in their driveway. Then out to Pleasant Hill at the request of Dustin Parlett. I was flying through those fuzzy seeds from trees. That tells me the air was rising nicely all around me. Executed a perfect landing, applied bug spray then packed up in record time, 50 minutes, and went home to fly another day.

Thanks for all you expertise along the rebuilding process man 🙏🏽 Except for flooding it during my restart attempt, it ran perfectly. I think my fuel mixture is rich and also my AF mixture is rich too. Probably made restart more difficult?
