Omg, the best time of the year is when we get to go through Dave’s plot and new varieties!! 😂 Just realized I commented with my business account. This is Lori Peplinskie. Great job guys!
I am writing through a translator. I can't remain silent. These varieties are wonderful. It's a shame that there are no such things in my country. The selection work was done well.
As always great to see Mr Spencer and his new varieties. Thank you both for making these videos for us. Time to start planning for next season I guess, happy growing.
Thanks 2 Dave's for a great insight again, and for how many up you grow of each class. Also especially the end bit naming the tried & trusted varieties. Hope health things were better this year.
Blyton Softer Gleam has always been rather underrated. Its good to see so many vases on the benches now! I remember how impressed my Dad was when we first grew it! Blyton Red Ace needs some pushing but WOW, when it right it is a super flower! And as for Blyton Stella. that was a bit of a find! Almost lost as Les didn't think it was quite good enough-he obviously has very high standards.
Hi Dave(s)! Lovely video as always , they are the highlights of my YT end of summer ! Just a quick question, does he sell any to people closeby ( im not far from Essex way ) especially varietys that you may not wish to continue with ? Thank you in advance 🌼
Talking about dropped petals and the season, we have never had to clear up as many dropped petals as we did from our stand during the Harrogate Flower Show at Newby Hall.
Looking at the "Community Guidelines" I think the video I took and shared of the Southtown Dahlia Club 2023 Dahlia Show may be declined since I sent it as a link. Any interested dahlia folks can google Dahlia Shows in Chicago, IL, USA to see how we try to share our dahlias with the public.
I grow em for farmers market bouquets - my faves are small balls in pinky reds and whites. I grew massive cafe au laits and they were just too big. I did take a vase of them for a display though, and this woman insisted I sell them to her !
What a joy to listen to a master grower! Thank you for sharing!

What country??
@@Idontknowy2 I live in the center of Russia.
@@Idontknowy2 We have breeders. But they don’t make such a round flower shape. The nymphaeum form is in fashion here. Water lily shape.
How amazing!
Amazingly beautiful...

Did seem a bit of a year for it. Cool wet followed by hot weather doesn't help.
