Commented yesterday about this exact problem, Target employee brought me the only hot wheel in back stock and it was the Super Treasure Hunt Renault.

Honestly I'm not surprised that target employee was stashing certain items in the back to resale on line. Half the dudes on ebay are employees resaling these items for twice the price. This has been going on for a while. Great video man.

I found Dollar Tree with alot of hotwheels in Catoosa. Unfortunately, all the diecast was perfectly organized.
They are trying to stop grown people from making a mess. Figure if you know the peg is stocked with that casting, no need to thumb through, and knock more the ground. Not sure if it's going to solve the issue

@@angel-ij4xv At least where I live I don't have to worry about that at Walmart to Target because no one collects who works at the stores near me the only dirty employee I knew about was someone at AutoZone which I don't worry about since I rarely ever check there. I hate to hear that to where you are and those employees should be fired because that's unacceptable and their supposed to be working and they're taking the fun away too.

Happens at my Walmart all the time. Employees take first dib and keeps all the good stuff, and then trash out all the fantasy and junks on the pegs. Hot wheels use to be fun and all, but it's nothing but business now.

How can you tell what case the cars are from? How do you read the codes on the back of the cards? What sequence of letters do you look at? The first letters or the last letters?

IDC if the Hotwheels are USA or International, I am perfectly fine with it. If I am curious enough to look up what case that car came from, there's good old Google.
In Malaysia here, every store that has Hotwheels or any of these diecast cars, has their employees holding the good car for themselves or for somebody who got their contacts. No chance for a real collector to hunt anymore.
I know this videos is from a year ago, but nowadays, it' getting worst and worst, especially when the manager of these stores are one of them too.
I found out where this collector lived that always was at dollar general and everywhere opening fresh boxes and taking everything for him so I broke into his house and now I have 46 Super treasure hunts for me.
Why do people stress over $1 cars and mediocre castings? Just pay a little more and buy better brands.

If no one commented yet...your slot car is the Al Unser 1970 Indy car champ...and Johnny Lightning back in 1970-72 tried to compete against Hot Wheels and created a car carrying case which was the Indy Car that opened with trays ..it is huge I have one ..great find.

Btw, this seems to be an ongoing problem at many stores that sell Diecast, store employees stashing stuff for themselves, or for their buddies to come in and pickup, people stealing stuff..etc. Anytime I see these types of shananagins, I will report it to management or take it a step further to corp management.

Too funny. ALL the stores in my city are dirty. Employees fight over this stuff in the back warehouse. If anything actually makes it to the sales floor, it's because a box got overlooked, or it was something that had no chase in it.

I use to do Hobby Lobby's when they had the coupon for 40% off one item. I reported a employee hiding TH,s at a Walley world and then only the managers could stock the die cast but that only lasted a couple months because then they had to work.

How long do think It'll take before the employees at these shopping centers realize that you guys are looking for supers before they stop stashing them for themselves? I already talked to a couple DG employees that told me that no super treasure hunts will ever make it to the pegs in their stores because they started raiding the boxes once they come off the truck. Once these guys start catching on that the supers are collectable, no ones gonna be finding them. And the funny part, not all the employees hoarding the supers in their stores are men! The ladies are catching on too.
