Helsloot teases his upcoming album ‘Never Tried’ on Get Physical with a superb new single from it, 'Disco Maxi.'
The full album arrives in May and finds Thomas Helsloot digging as deep as he can into his creative reserves in an attempt to "ignore every trend" and "translate the excitement but also the insecurity you feel when trying something new." It comes after standout singles on this label and years of him honing in on a rich melodic sound via releases on Domino, remixes of Bob Moses and Fritz Kalkbrenner and big hits such as ‘Because You Move Me’ which picked up over 400 million plays.
The superb 'Disco Maxi' is built on lush synth arps that are always ascending and full of party promise. The slick drums fuse elements of disco and house as the infectious claps keep things on the move while gorgeous pads unfurl out of the mix to bring plenty of cosmic colour. The overall effect is one that will take any dance floor to the next level with waves of heartwarming emotion.
This is another unique new sound from Helsloot ahead of his much anticipated new full-length.
