This is the most positive reaction I've saw to the song. The reaction following the selection of the song was extremely toxic. People hated that this song won. Personally though, this was my winner

The meaning of the song as I understand it ...is about a breakup and her inner fight, she says shaj( swear), I want to swear at him, kill his image, the one who I can’t be separated from. Continues, how should I judge him? He hurts me and I handled it (obviously might have been cheated on).
To me the most beautiful lyric is “there’s a price to pay for the regret of my soul”
I love the lyrics because they are so dark and have so many metaphors.
I am sorry guys but if you understood the lyrics, the emotion and her pain will stab you in your soul.
Talk about powerful vocals.

The song talks about a difficult situation, how hard is to carry this heavy weight( to live without someone) which I believe is about her father who passed away when Arilena was little 💔

It’s a good one. It does need a very slight revamp. Not change too much but it a little more to get that umph going. Then again, I listened to this before listening to Spain.

Even though I not a massive fan of the song we can all agree Arilena is selling this song. Honestly I don't know is this a qualifier this year but we have to see. The problem I have with the song it doesn't do anything for me personally but I can see why people love it. I say it one of those song that you are instantly going to love it or you are not and it doesn't really grow on you. I don't hate this entry but they had better in my opinion. Also they better not translate the song the Albanian language is beautiful and shouldn't be touched

The song?.......yes, it is very good and a definite qualifier as it stands but a caveat......have to wait for the revamp.....this might not be as effective in English, which is what is promised, so until we hear the final product, i reserve judgement.....

I don't think its a definite qualifier at all. To me this song is kind of forgettable and weaker than Jonida's song last year.

I'm albanian and when I don't like any song we choose , they turn out to do well at Eurovision . I hated Eugent Bushpepa's entry , but he finished 11th
Beautiful girl, sexy outfit, top singer - but sorry, not every year a ballad. I know you don't want to hear it but my clear favorite was Elvana Gjata - Me tana and I still think Albania made a mistake in Dec. 2019.

OFFICIAL ESC Well we all know that. We all wanted Elvana for Eurovision but the corruption is everywhere on Albania. They promised Elvana that the show wouldnt be corrupted and only the internationals will judge. They gave Elvana maximal points. But at the last night they added two albanians that would drag Elvana down with only 2 points. And whats the worst thing? The worst thing is that on our country Elvana is the queen of music, like Beyonce is on Usa Elvana is on Albania and Kosovo. ELVANA trsuted them. They needed Elvana on festival because we would see the fesival because other years no one ever saw the festival because we werent interested to tell the truth. But when we heard that Elvana is gonna perform we all watched it and we made many petitions to send Elvana but they didnt. Because the producer of the festival is Arilena’s manager. So me and 95% of albanians wont see Eurovision this year.
@@esfuemfhvx7388 That is horrible for poor Elvana and for Albanian fans of Elvana. What amazes me is that they didn't even try to hide their corruption and straight up changed the rules to add those very biased and probably paid off Albanian jurors.
aaljan her reaction when she get the second place brake my heart because I’ve been a big fan of her since her first song 15 years ago and i never saw Elvana being more disappointed in her career. Plus the performance on the Festivali i Kenges was just to show that she can sing and dance at the same time but was more concerned on the singing. In Eurovision she would have a crazy performance that would have crazy moves because she can dance very well. We had the biggest chance to do something big as a country that nobody did in Albania but the corruption 😓 We always dreamed to send her to eurovision this was the year that she decided to go because everyone on her team from her stylist to her manager was begging her to go and they promised her that the voting would be fair. The producer and the presenter promised that the voting would be fair and she trusted them. The presenter (Alketa Vejsiu) said sorry in public for Elvana for treating her very bad in the festival becuase she belived in them. We had a chance they lost it, and i do think that she will never go on that stage again after this. Robbery of the decade on our country.

I am that person who loves Balkan ballads and always defends them but I will say this I am a bit bored with Albania. Love their entries but lately even with this very talent vocalist/artists, I think I am bored of how expected the song is. I would have loved something fresh from Albania but I think they are just going for the same mentality of just qualifying but not winning. They should take risks next time and send something not just to qualify but to be competitive to win.
Alexis Denis Albania will never win, Eugent Bushpepa had the best voice by a mile, no one could come close to him that year. If he was representing some western european country he’d win. There is Albanian racism in the competition towards giving it 12 points.

Normally I’m a sucker for ballads, but this year I actually preferred Me Tana. Good luck to albania though!
Frisii we all wanted Me tana. But they payed to win Arilena. Who is Arilena ? No one. Who is Elvana? Best Artist of Albania. She is Beyonce of our country
Not into this and if they change it to English i think even worse. Oh, I lovvvved lovvvved Jonida and voted Albania last year. But this year I don't think so.
Unpopular opinion, but I find the song quite bland and forgettable. It sounds like the Albanian version of Kruna from last year. Arilena has a great voice, but the song is quite cookie-cutter and formulaic, the chorus loses momentum with those pauses and the instrumental in the bridge isn't long or memorable enough.
Also, the fact she will sing in English at Eurovision will only highlight the flaws this song has.
