I saw Elton's Toronto concert 3 weeks before this Atlanta show. His voice was somewhat better at the Toronto concert. He opened with a solo version of "Your Song" because the band had apparently not yet cleared customs and the outdoor show was already well over an hour late starting due to earlier massive thunderstorms and heavy cold rain and Elton wanted to start right away and avoid any more delay. We were drenched! EJ came on without the wacky hair - just a Blue Jays ball cap and dark shades. I recall how "One Horse Town" just blew everyone out of their seats. "Restless" sounded great and funkier on this tour. Toronto got "Can I Get A Witness" - a nice serving of Motown splendor to wrap her up as the last encore. Thanks for posting - lots of memories.

Sorry...meant to say "New York" show and not "Atlanta"! Also, it was a real pleasure to hear "Love Song" with Elton on acoustic guitar.
