You're not annoying at all. I agree with all of the things you mentioned. The guy with the doctorate in English Lit who is a total book snob has no right to tell anyone else that what they're reading isn't worth their time, is inferior, etc. If someone loves reading books of a certain genre, LET THEM. At least they're reading, and it's meaningful to them. And I must add that your recording space is really beautiful. All of your very healthy plants and treasures really complement your shelves.
Exactly! It's so infurating when people try to inflict their own reading taste on other people. It's subjective, look it up! 😁 I know reading is really beneficial too, but it also isn't mandatory to read at all. Some people look at readers and say they should exercise more, or come back to the real world, etc etc. If we could all just respect each other's interest, there would be so much less stress and anxiety in the world. It's like nothing is ever enough. So annoying! Thank you so much for you kind words! The rest of the house looks like a new build in the Sims, but I'm very happy that the plants are alive and well! 😅

I once read a story in which the main female character was supposedly working on her doctorate. Yet, she endangered herself two or three times by drinking too much in unsafe situations. The first time is a mistake, the second time is either stupidity or lazy writing. I did not continue the series!
@@joycejarrard6958 Yeah that might be lazy writing by the author, or a pattern of the character. Being a educated doesn’t mean you can’t make mistakes, especially with substances. I don’t know the book, so I’ll let you be the judge of that but, just a thought :)

Haha yes, it's so annoying, isn't it? It's completely harmless, of course, but I much prefer getting a sense of what kind of books a person talks about on their channel. I find it very helpful to see a few covers on the thumbnails when you check out someones page :)
I don't watch channels where the host gleefully shows a stack of backward books. If they can't give me a hint about their subject, then I won't waste my time clicking and watching. Period.
