You are clever to figure out how to fix this product. I am not an electrician and won't waste my time trying to fix junk made by Primo. The issue with my Primo pump is that about 10 seconds after dispensing water, the pump sprays out a few ounces of water. I'm taking mine back to the retail store to swap for one that works properly.
Just spotted your reply, it been busy year, I'm glad I could be of service to you. If you have a desire to support my channel as a token of gratitude, with your support it is much easier for us. Bit.ly/ThankMeViaPayPal 👈 And Thank You 👌
I just purchased this unit yesterday, and it didn't work right out of the box (wasn't fully charged like the box says), I charged it ALL night, but it still isn't working. I held the button down and felt a very slight vibration, almost as if the brushes were trying to move. Still not working. I wonder if shaking the unit a few times would move the brushes inside the motor?
Sorry for the late response. If you watch video again you will understand what happening In my case the answer is brush motor stop at position with no contact in the circuit 3:37 , sometimes the circuit board or wiring could have an issues, if pump is dropped soldering from moving parts can get loose, witch is could cause brake in the circuit, any bad connections could lead to that as well.
Make sure all plugs inside are plugged, and they soldered to the board well, could be power loss. When you call support, they send free eeplacement, usually arrives in 4 days
It’s garbage, my first 1 worked for 5 months, then I bought another 1 which was dead out the box, exchanged for the third 1 and guess what - dead, lights are blinking inconsistently, but no go
Issue is simple, pore assembly. Components not sturdy, but overall system is amazing. Send these to me 29588 I will fix them, but anyhow, they would replace it for you again and again.
On mine the blue light flashes and doesn't do anything. I tried to blow water forward and backwards. Water came out both ways, but it still doesn't work. Lights flash red while charging so I think that is working.
I opened it up and two of the resistors (R1 & R2) seemed damaged. I found a review on amazon that claims the same thing happened and probably a lot of other people with the blinking blue light. I also tried connecting the fully charged battery directly to the motor and it didn't turn. So not sure what is wrong, but I think I need a new one.
That is good research! How old is the unit? Do you still have an receipt? If you call CUS Support they will replace it with receipt and if it is not to far away in dates. (844) 237-746 Usually if tube get stack and pump is overloaded it probably burn's. @@goasfarasyoucansee I actually already have that exact same manual but I don't see anything about a flashing blue light on it. Anyway, I think I'm going to switch to a full water cooler with either 5 gal bottles or a direct water line. I appreciate the offer, though.
You got two options, call support they will troubleshoot and send you new one, you won't believe, for some sort of error, they where sending me for a month 1 every week)) if
My problem was the pump turned on by itself and all the water came gushing out and got everywhere. I had just taken it out of the box and pushed it only one time on and off. Then a few minutes later all this water came gushing out by itself. Nobody was touching it or anything.
This is very unseen, possibly that circuit board malfunctioning, or simply button get stock, first one is more likely the true. Call support they will replace one free of charge for you. Witch is you probably did!
I should record it you are right. But it is easy. Disconnect water tube, remove 4 screws, next is easy - use old cc card or hotel door card, to pry it open. You won't brake any, just when separating a part do not pull hard, as there is wires connecting top and bottom, and you will need to pull the plug inside. And again, there is nothing to hold it together, but 4 screws at the bottom
Yeah mine is a different model an It also has trouble charging.. but it's hit an miss if it will pump mine also has a detachable tube . An on mine the prongs on the tube don't reach the mother board .. 😑 it just flashes blue ..
take it apart carefully, use magnify glasses, or any other zoom devices, and inspect carefully soldering contacts on circuit board, check all the plugs, battery connections etc.( home the brake is not inside the motor, ( one of the symptoms that you already confirm brake in circuit is come an goes!) Posted back if resolved, good luck, if you need parts, let me know witch one and will more then happy to send you replacement. Got few new spares
I shook well my primo pump and its working again. Thanx for the advice, comrade. 🎉

Kind late response. Yes you can spin it left and right clockwise counterclockwise.
Let me know if you did anything. How the story ends up
Great video and yes it worked again.

I did what you said, but when I connected it better right it still went back to blue light no water pumping sound

Would be helpful if you showed disassembly. I can't get the top part off the unit.
