In this trader training video Richard answers a question from a member on what is the significance of a market trading around the initial balance for a long time when looking at the market profile chart. He shows examples in the Bund. The initial balance for the Bund is the first hour of trade for the day, which is from 7am - 8am. Sets the tone for the day. The smaller the initial balance the greater the chance for a larger directional move. Larger initial balance means the trades you need to take are going through the range

    💛💙🧡💚
    Video Summary: ...
#1 The IB is the first hour of Cash open. Mark the Open and Close for this First hour opening. It's a Range... High & Low.
#2 .. Trading Rule: If the IB Range (high-low) is SMALL ... that means a big move is coming Later.
But if the IB is MEDIUM TO LARGE... that means that most big players have done their business for the day (most likely), so the market is "indecisive" for the day and you can play the range for a few scalps in bits and pieces
#3 - If we spend more and more time inside the Initial Balance (IB) range ... it means there's less of a chance of a "Bust up" or "Bust down" later on ... but if we spend more time outside of it, it means a Bigger Whale is Lurking!! Faders Beware!!!

17:20 How do you trade back into the zone? What you should be looking at the price action and the tape? It just looks like if I'm going to buy once it gets back above the previous low I have such a poor stop because the new low is far from my entry. But I shouldn't be trying to catch the falling knife aswell and try to guess to what extent this false breakout is gonna go, right?

Good contents, horrible camera work, can't see what he is pointing at on the screen, all charts and words too small to see. Quit watching at half way.
