How are you getting that kind of detail ?, Are they Solvent paints or water based? I have an ab turbo and I can’t get in that tight , at least using latex.. . I strain the paint but still . Seems like now and then the airbrush will behave right and allow me nice small lines... anyway great work !
This is createx waterbased paint. Getting details like this just boils down to having a 100% clean airbrush before you start, reducing the paint to suit your needs (i think I had reduced the paint about 50/50 which helps it flow better) and practice. Keep at it and you'll be able to do details like this in no time 🙂👍

Replica, not counterfeit. A counterfeit is something made in imitation of something else with intent to deceive. Ive never tried to deceive anyone with this. It was my guitar, i've not made any financial gain from it and if i was trying to pass it off as Kirk's i would have changed the inlays too. Just needed to make that clear ;)
No it doesnt worry me at all. Vinyl is cheap, quick and painless. Only problem is you need to make sure you get one printed with a good printer and UV stable inks. Then you need a very good picture to print. If its small it'll come out looking terrible. Airbrushing may take longer and cost more but you get what you pay for. If you want something quick that looks bad close up and wont last go for vinyl. If you want something quality that'll look just as good 50 years from now go for airbrushed ;)
@Raziel236 Yeah tried the dispute thing twice now and both times the author of the music turned out to be the one putting in the claim, even though i had bought the use of his tune he wanted to slap ads all over my vid which is fair enough i suppose but still not what you expect when you buy something like a "royalty free" track. @baqnblaq2003 I'll be honest mate, my Mojo was one of the first 30 that Mike Learn didnt check before he sent it out and ive got issues with it. It would be unfair for me to review it before ive had time to try and sort out the probs as mine isnt a propper representation of the final product if you know what i mean (what ive got isnt what others would now get). Once i have a bit more time on my hands im gonna sit down and have a good play with it and see if i can iron out the probs i have.
@myerstom80 Golden colours or Com-Art are good for detail. E'Tac is superb if you can get hold of it (its impossible to get in the UK). Wicked Detail colours by Createx are good too once you get the reduction right ;)
@LycanthropicArt Yes mate they are. The top one contains "Nemesis". A 10 foot common boa and the bottom one contains "Pandora". A 7 foot common boa (but with very light colouration compared to others)

It's like trying to call the cops cuz you have the copyrighted metallica logo tatooed on your forearm. Besides, knowing Kirk, he'll like it and sign it gladly.

@svee NICE! I breed geckos, chameleons, and beard dragons. I have a few snakes, all of which are rescued, which include - Ball Pythons, Western Hognoses, Corn Snakes, and one reticulated python (which is still rather young). I'm gonna start rehoming them soon, because I have them all back to proper health. Cheers, brother! - Wulf

A vinyl wrap is not the same, obviously. There are guys who would be willing to pay the premium. A lot of players buy raw bodies and necks and all the parts to build their guitars. After they're complete they need to find an airbrush artist to replicate a graphic on these kindd of metal guitars. Is their some legal issue with doing these paint jobs? Im doing a Charvel San Dimas replica Super Strat and want the Crossed Sword graphic on Warren Demartini's guitar from Ratt. Don't wanna spend 3k and i don't care for the neck profile so im having a custom built neck with a Soloist flat thin neck. Its speedy that way.

@domdom751 I dont really use Iwata anymore lol. This vid was shot 4 years ago now and back then all i owned was a couple of Iwata HP-CH brushes. These days im using Harder & Steenbeck and Badger brushes mostly :)

Crickey pal you have an amazing talent something to truly aspire to need to get a ruddy airbrush first though ;( Got my compressor and soundproofed it now from 94db to about 50db or so pretty pleased with that as my daughters room is above where i will be working, now just got to save ones pennies for my AB's but i can't ruddy wait to start my dots and daggers hahahah ;) your vids are just great pal, how you explain everything just like being at home lol ;)
