This is such a tear-jerker. I'm so glad you and your parents are so close now and nothing will ever change even if they aren't your biological parents. :)
You've really made everyone proud. You are one of the most hard working, successful youngsters and now a multitasking mom. You're building a house, you've got a Lambo, achieved your dreams at such a young age. I look up to you even though I'm older hehe 🙂 Keep going!
Ur parents treats u with more love than some other family who is biological ! Is good to know the truth that even you n your parents aren’t biological but they still raised u up like a princess gives u the best (which not all family able to) love ur family more!
As a fellow adopted kid I feel you a lot. I learnt I was adopted at 13th through files that I went through in my moms room, no one would told me and didn’t plan too so when I found out I was flabbergasted. I never felt so empty and realize I didn’t belong anywhere.
I started following naomi since I was 13, when I watching this video, I got so emotional, you're so strong Naomi, I would cry to death if I realized I'm adopted, I feel like Naomi is just a strong women and very grateful that she have a family which love her more than themselves, we love you Naomi 🥺💕
Hi Naomi, appreciate your sharing. Most importantly, you have been loved. I am nearing 70 and like yourself I am also adopted, within Singapore. Back in 1950s, life was hard and my biological parents had many kids to care. In fact, my biological mother passed on 2 years back. I never hate them. And, I only get to meet her in person when I am in my 50s. But, after all these years, I still miss my late foster mother. Pray you have a blessed life .. and live forward.
Naomi, I just wanna say that I’ve seen you grow up through RUclips and definitely i’m so so proud of you and just seeing how God has made you into this beautiful, loving, strong, wise, mature daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, mother lastly wife! and I will always be here supporting you Naomi! And even if now we all know you’re adopted but, it doesn’t mean we will not stop supporting and loving and accepting you Naomi!! I can tell you that your family that chose you really they all love and accept you for who you are Naomi! God loves u and you are always his precious daughter too!
Hi Naomi! Hope you don’t mind me sharing my adoption story here as well, as yours hits real close to my heart. Like you, I noticed my health booklet never had my blood type, and my birth of place is China. My mum too, gave me the same reason - that my dad was in China for work, and so I was born there. I never thought to ask my parents any more than my blood type or why I was born in China. They had 1 single black and white photo of me when I was a few months old, and 1 single photo of me when I was about 1yr+ at a studio (taken just so my parents could have a look at me while the adopted papers were being settled - prior to that they’ve never met me), so I never really questioned why there were no baby photos of me, I thought it was normal to have just a single photo then. I was made fun of sometimes simply based on the fact I was not born in Singapore like the other kids were. My cousins who were the same age as me or closer to my age nearly always left me out during family gatherings, I wasn’t allowed to play with them, weren’t allowed to play with their toys, and many gatherings ended with my crying and telling my mother on them, and in turn, being called a tell tale - but no worries, we’re all on good terms now. Like your parents, mine, especially my mum was also very strict with me, and like you, sometimes I questioned myself if they really loved me, or loved me enough. I didn’t feel like they were loving me the way I wanted them to. My mum sometimes also made “jokes” that I was, in olden terms, a “trash can baby” when I’d pester her asking where I was from. But my finding out about my adoption is very different from yours. I was 15 when my mum dropped the bomb on me. She was in the hospital due for a spinal surgery due to cancer, and as it was a high risk surgery, she was afraid she’d pass on while in the being operated on, and so she broke the news to me. She started asking me why I never listened to her, and being confused, I asked her what she meant. Her response shocked me when she asked why I never believed her when she told me I was picked up “from the trash can” - something I always thought was a joke was actually her way of coming to terms with it and subtly trying to drop hints for me all this while. I never held it against her, we both cried and simply came to terms with it. My adoption came about when my mum and dad never intended to adopt then, they were still trying to have their own child - and my uncle, her older brother asked her if she’d like to try adopting instead. My mum thought it was a joke and told my uncle yes, he took it seriously (thank you big uncle! ❤️) and went about trying to find a child my mum could adopt. His contact in China eventually found my aunt (bio mum’s sister) that told them my mum had a girl to put up for adoption sooo.. here I am! I tried asking my dad about it, but he wouldn’t have it and told me to stop asking ever again. I later found out that I was adopted at about the age of two. I heard my biological dad was a butcher and my biological mum helped him out. I had 2 older sisters before me, and I was the 3rd daughter and what they wanted was a boy. As your parents mentioned, China has a one child policy back then, and my bio mum was pregnant with her fourth child when I was being put up for adoption - they wanted a boy so they kept on going at it. I was angry when I heard this - even more so when I found out my younger sibling was also a girl and my bio mum then asked my parents if they wanted to swap me for my younger sister - to which of course, they declined. I also found out later that my aunt/godma (mum’s older sister) went to China to visit my family prior to my coming here, and that it’s possible I still blood relatives staying in Singapore - but none of that mattered or matters to me as my real family had already found me, taken me in as their own, and raised me. There’s a saying that blood is thicker than water - but I say familial love and bond is stronger than blood. I’m so happy for you that you have found your real family, and I wish you and your family all the best in love and happiness. Thank you to anyone who read my story, and to Naomi, thank you for bringing more awareness to others. Lots of love ❤️

I'm not crying you are 😭. I remember being jealous of how perfect and close you are to your parents and wishing that I want to have the same closeness to my parents especially to my Mom. Naomi, you are so lucky to have been adopted by them and of course, they are so lucky and blessed to have you as their daughter as well. Stay being an inspiration to many ❤️❤️❤️
Totally touched.. n Crying buckets for the joy that youve got thru the initial stages n truly understanding that the ones who loves you n cares for you even if theyre not of the blood .. makes them a true blue parent.. a mother ..a father.. much love to you n the whole family..
I encountered this video late but thank you for sharing this personal story with us, Naomi. I've watched you on RUclips since 2013 and I saw the way your parents loved, cared and treated you and I never felt like they thought of you like an adopted child. May the way your parents shaped you into who you are today inspired you to become the best mother for your own children, and to shape them to become the best version of themselves too. I'm so proud of you Naomi and will always love you and your family.
No matter what Naomi it’s so good to see you grow up so well and turn into a mother of two children 😇💓✨.Your beautiful love stay strong god bless 😇💓✨ Thanks to Naomi’s parents for giving her a beautiful life 😇✨
Been following you on IG for years since I was in secondary school and now I’m 25!!! Seeing you grow as a mother and realised that you’ve become a brave and wonderful woman. All the best Naomi ♥️ you got it 💪🏻
Being Adopted isn’t always about what makes you feel isolated and mistreated by those whose family your in It’s treated by those who love you For who you are No matter how your not related by blood To them and yourself Family isn’t always run by blood It’s built by bonding with friendship and love ❤️ Regardless of how hard they are on you It’s how much they worry and love you so much Not that you only want more privacy and freedom Of course they want us to have that freedom in our teens but They expect us to be careful and responsible for any action we take If a parent is as strict as expected of all parenthood? You grow to understand why they did it And now it’s your turn to do the same when you have a family of your own Family Blood or Not Adopted or Step Half Blood *The Greatest Treasure in Life and Honour is being loved by your parents having you for a Son/Daughter regardless of being blood related or not… We are more valuable to them than any trinket worth millions* - Azaiav
Thank you for sharing this with us. I know this is your privacy and u have a choice to do not sharing it with us. But , you are so brave and willing to open up about urself with us. This video taught me that nothing to be ashamed for being adopted.
Love this touching video. Thank you for sharing your story to everyone. There could be people in the world going through what you are... but afraid to voice it out and I think your video gives them some form of clarity. Been following you for years, such an inspiration. You do you!
Thank you for sharing this with us! We're all proud of you and so lucky to know you! Been watching you since I was 14 until 22 and words cant express how I admire you ! You're very strong woman .
This was a really nice video. I'm honestly quite curious about the bio parents, they sound like they should have been a middle-class family so it was probably due to not being able to pay the fee for a second child that they had to give Naomi up. Must have been really hard since they had her for the first few years of her life and gave her a lot of love.
But you’re lucky to have parents like them neomis. Not all of parents like your parents. They take care of you very well from baby till now they always still take care of you. They spend energy…money and even everything for only you to life happy. You’re parents also lucky to have baby like you. You are really good girl and good mother now. I’m melting my heart to learn your story. Half part I feel you’re lucky child but half part also sad but everything is already over and now to do is forgive and accept it. And continue the journey of our life. But you are the best child for your parents you are everything.
so touching. So much love from your adopted parents. At the same time, as a mother of 2 young kids, i can’t imagine giving them up. Imagine them so lost and expecting the parents to come back. Maybe this contributes to your search in love in your teen years?
I have been crying throughout the whole video. I had to spend a whole year without my parents to understand that they are the people who will love me no matter what. I have last seen them in January 2021. Since losing my parents, I started appreciating what they had done for me and how nicely they raised me. After a whole year they are coming to see me again and I cannot be more happy 🥺 To all the parents, biological or not, who raised a child and provided them a family, love, security- you guys are the best. There is nothing that can replace your position in that child's life. You are the reason for their existence. ❤
Very touching video.. You have wonderful parents and even got the curiosity solved about your past too..Really good reminder to spend more with your love ones its never too late.. 😊❤️
To Mr and Mrs Neo, thank you for your strength and courage. For opening old wounds, having to relive it again and expressing yourself and especially sharing your fears of losing Naomi. I feel that wasn't something easy to admit and say out loud. You've made it this far and you continuously give your best. May this be the seed of hope to other couples who are struggling to start a family or in the process of adopting as well; blessings to all ✨💕
You are such an inspiration! Made me cry watching til end. Mature approach toggled with unconditional love and understanding made me more realize to value people around me who trully gives love unconditionally also. Thanks for being so brave and for sharing such inspirational bond between child and parents by blood or not!
I only got to know about you thru Sg Gossips today. Very touched by what happened, as i am a father myself with 3 kids. Its not easy being a parent, all the worries and struggles from each stage of the kid. And i know since before my first kid, that it is not a given, that you can have a baby just because you want it. It is all a blessing and grace from God. So i can imagine how your parents felt that time, just as Hannah did in the bible. Well, looking forward to your next adventure clip - finding and meeting your biological parents!!! : )
Randomly came upon your channel and what a beautiful story..... you are gorgeous and how lucky you are to have such loving parents! Their love for you totally transcend, I could see and felt just how precious you are to them.... 😭😭😭😭🧡🧡🧡🧡
I am adopted as well, I am living life as normal. Really brave of you to share this. Doesn't matter which family raised you, always be happy that there are people who watch you grow up from a young child to an adult. For me, when I was told I was adopted, I didn't feel mad at my parents but blessed at the same time when I used to came from a very poor family. I am currently a bus driver and doing well so far providing my services to people and beyond company's expectation. My mission is to give people happiness.
it's not a bad thing that you're adopted, because if you weren't adopted you would have a different life, make different friends, and you wouldn't be here today- we all love you and supports u naomi💪💗 yall are also so sweet
they might not be perfect, but i believe they are the best parents you have. whether blood related or not, the fact that they brought you back to SG (rather than China) is already such a gift, and having achievement from your career through media, if the adoption never happen, i don't think you could be where you are now. still, show much respect to your parents and pls treat them good as well. i can see how sincere they are, hoping nothing in return. it's not easy, sometimes curious to know our original family as well. but there are times that it's just meant to be
You are so lucky to find the incredible parents , and I am glad to see this side of urs and I wish those truth will not change you guys relationship, but I can see how closeness and bonding of their relationship is.e happy, brave and live the fullest life.
Naomi you are blessed since the time you arrived on Earth ~ all of these happenings shows that you are adored by the Universe ~ I feel so touched watching this video ~ 😭 and im happy for you ~ It is very evident that Universe is always taking care of you 💜 100%
Omg this is a life changing for me too as I hv been watching you since u were 15 Naomi. I myself now 28 y/o and so proud of how far u have become. I cried watching this.
I'm adopted too and found out at 15. You're so blessed. I related so much to this video. Also went through the rebellious teenage phase and we're growing to be better everyday
Fun Fact: While everyone thinks the saying is, "Blood is thicker than water" implying that those you share blood with is more important- The original saying is “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb” meaning, and I'm quoting this from the cite I got it from because I feel like it's said better than what I thought of, "... that bonds that you’ve made by choice are more important than the people that you are bound to by the water of the womb." With that said, I feel like this defines not just the video, other successful adoptions, close friendships, and more.
my heart hurts seeing this because i remember for years i asked if i was adopted because i was also born in china, it also hurts seeing your cousin, someone who I've gone thru cca with talking about this, thank you for talking about this, its really brave
Like the quote “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb”, the bonds that you’ve made by choice are more important than the people that you are bound to by the water of the womb.
Thank you for all your support and to those who grew with me. Without you, I wouldn’t even be who/where I am today. I love you!!! ❤️

You can’t choose your biological children but adopting is making a conscious decision to nurture and love that child. That’s what makes it so special

Thank you so much for sharing this Naomi ♥️🥺 You handled it so well and you continue to inspire us with how honest you are and how much you’ve grown! And you were such a cute toddlerrrrr! THOSE CHEEKS!!! *pinches
I can't imagine being put in the same position as you are in right now. You are really brave to share this story with us and I really respect you for that. Thank you Naomi for being you and never forget how special you are to others. Anyways, happy birthday Naomi!!!!
It’s really amazing how her parents could share something like this they are really brave my love goes out to you and the family.
I started following naomi since I was 13, when I watching this video, I got so emotional, you're so strong Naomi, I would cry to death if I realized I'm adopted, I feel like Naomi is just a strong women and very grateful that she have a family which love her more than themselves, we love you Naomi 🥺💕
Indeed that you're a brave Lady,Mom and Wife.
We're so proud of you Naomi^ω^
We Loveeee youuuu sooo muchh..
Your parents are lucky to have you.
Bless you all
Papa and Mama Neo are amazing! 🥰 Sometimes we can love someone like a family even though we are not blood related.

No matter what Naomi it’s so good to see you grow up so well and turn into a mother of two children 😇💓✨.Your beautiful love stay strong god bless 😇💓✨
Thanks to Naomi’s parents for giving her a beautiful life 😇✨
Been following you on IG for years since I was in secondary school and now I’m 25!!!
Seeing you grow as a mother and realised that you’ve become a brave and wonderful woman. All the best Naomi ♥️ you got it 💪🏻
You made me teared. It's a blessing to have such parents, please treasure/cherish them while they are around!
Being Adopted isn’t always about what makes you feel isolated and mistreated by those whose family your in
It’s treated by those who love you
For who you are No matter how your not related by blood
To them and yourself
Family isn’t always run by blood
It’s built by bonding with friendship and love ❤️
Regardless of how hard they are on you
It’s how much they worry and love you so much
Not that you only want more privacy and freedom
Of course they want us to have that freedom in our teens but
They expect us to be careful and responsible for any action we take
If a parent is as strict as expected of all parenthood? You grow to understand why they did it
And now it’s your turn to do the same when you have a family of your own
Family
Blood or Not
Adopted or Step
Half Blood
*The Greatest Treasure in Life and Honour is being loved by your parents having you for a Son/Daughter regardless of being blood related or not… We are more valuable to them than any trinket worth millions*

Thank you for sharing this with us. I know this is your privacy and u have a choice to do not sharing it with us. But , you are so brave and willing to open up about urself with us. This video taught me that nothing to be ashamed for being adopted.
The love that was given from her parents doesn't feel like she was adopted. Stay strong 💪
I always think adoption is so pure because they choose to love you. They were ready and chose you to love. ✨
Your parents are so sweet. You’re very lucky to have them :)
I literally cried naomi! ♥️♥️♥️ bless you and your fams
I was very surprised to see this, and I will always be extremely proud of you :) Family is not bound by blood, but by love ❤️
so touching.
After a whole year they are coming to see me again and I cannot be more happy 🥺
To all the parents, biological or not, who raised a child and provided them a family, love, security- you guys are the best.
You're brave and your parents were very brave to share such a confidential information of how you came about. :)
My mission is to give people happiness.
it's not a bad thing that you're adopted, because if you weren't adopted you would have a different life, make different friends, and you wouldn't be here today- we all love you and supports u naomi💪💗 yall are also so sweet
they might not be perfect, but i believe they are the best parents you have. whether blood related or not, the fact that they brought you back to SG (rather than China) is already such a gift, and having achievement from your career through media, if the adoption never happen, i don't think you could be where you are now.
still, show much respect to your parents and pls treat them good as well. i can see how sincere they are, hoping nothing in return. it's not easy, sometimes curious to know our original family as well. but there are times that it's just meant to be
What a beautiful story. Someone was cutting onions throughout the video.
Naomi ...thanks for sharing your story.U r really brave and strong girl.
You are so lucky to find the incredible parents , and I am glad to see this side of urs and I wish those truth will not change you guys relationship, but I can see how closeness and bonding of their relationship is.e happy, brave and live the fullest life.
Naomi you are blessed since the time you arrived on Earth ~ all of these happenings shows that you are adored by the Universe ~ I feel so touched watching this video ~ 😭 and im happy for you ~ It is very evident that Universe is always taking care of you 💜 100%
The parents is so nice 😭

You and your parents are so brave to share it with us. Like people usually keep it secret.
Omg this is a life changing for me too as I hv been watching you since u were 15 Naomi. I myself now 28 y/o and so proud of how far u have become. I cried watching this.
we are extremely proud of you 🥺❤️ so much loveee
I can't hold my tears back. Thank you Naomi for showing us all that you can be loved in all ways. You're truly so brave and with a big kind heart. ❤️
I'm adopted too and found out at 15. You're so blessed. I related so much to this video. Also went through the rebellious teenage phase and we're growing to be better everyday
I am crying when you said you have not shown enough gratitude. I feel you ❤❤
Fun Fact:
While everyone thinks the saying is, "Blood is thicker than water" implying that those you share blood with is more important-
The original saying is “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb” meaning, and I'm quoting this from the cite I got it from because I feel like it's said better than what I thought of, "... that bonds that you’ve made by choice are more important than the people that you are bound to by the water of the womb."
With that said, I feel like this defines not just the video, other successful adoptions, close friendships, and more.
I am crying with you while watching Naomi you are really a strong and brave girl, I am so proud of you!
my heart hurts seeing this because i remember for years i asked if i was adopted because i was also born in china, it also hurts seeing your cousin, someone who I've gone thru cca with talking about this, thank you for talking about this, its really brave
Like the quote “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb”, the bonds that you’ve made by choice are more important than the people that you are bound to by the water of the womb.
What a beautiful documentary….! You have great parents and I swear I can 100% tell they really love you alot! Have a good life! 💕❤️🙏 U r so blessed!
Don't feel unloved by being adopted. You are loved, special and chosen to be in this beautiful family. May you and you're family be blessed.
Naomi you’re so precious and very brave of you to reveal this❤️
🥺🥺 thank you for sharing this with us!!! Happy birthday & best wishes to you for you & your family! ❤️
