I have used it now for 3 weeks and it still feels fine. No fan noise or temp issues for me. I think it's worth it as you get 20% more cuda cores and it makes a huge difference?
Would prefer to have temperatures (GPU, memory, hot spot and noise) included as the msi ventus 2x, gigabyte eagle oc seem to be run the hottest and are the loudest of all models and the zotac twin edge looks like it may be at a similar level. Asus dual is quite a bit cooler on the gpu and hot spot and quieter but hotter on the memory temps
That's fair. It was my first ever review of a graphics card. I plan to get a 50 series when they come out and I will do a follow up video looking at what you have suggested! It runs mainly at 50C under low load and 66 average on a 1440p games. Noise is never an issue really as I have speakers or headphones on
I believe you can as other 4070 superstar have been overclocked. In terms of 3080ti yes it has same ram but more Cuda cores and will only run at 225w rather than 350+ it is a lot smaller as well. There are some good deals on this card also
Nope! Not at all... save $500 AUD and get a more powerful card. The Sapphire Pulse RX 7900 GRE 16GB. Until RTX 50 series lands, I'm sitting with an RTX 2070 and zero complaints.
Why does it not occur to you to touch on the temps? If you're gonna hassle and make a review, at least do it properly man
Sorry! First time I did this! I know for next time!

Probably temps are bad 😂
any overclocking, undervolting, temps? hwinfo64 screens? Good job on the pcie cover and the psu cables.
It is recommended that if the card requires 2x 8-pin connectors, do not connect them using a single cable, but instead use two separate 8-pin cables.
Looks like a 12 pin power connector to me, not 8 like you said. It must have come with an adapter cable?
indeed
just get one from cable mod its £10
@@Antzmusic24 My 4070 Super came with one. They all should.
Fair enough, mine did as well but I needed an additional one from my pcu@@xboxrules8472
Yes they do
I was about to ask about temperatures then saw the other comments, so thats answered. What about noise levels at idle and at full load? Thank you.
Very quiet, at least mine is. Much more quiet than my old EVGA RTX2070Super XC.
any issues with the power cable being daisy chained? thats the exact setup i would have!
The cable is fine! Works like a treat! I am really happy with my PC!
ppl complain about the fan noise, coil whine and unstable temps, thoughts? Worth the $80 CAD upgrade from a 4070 windforce?

@@DTMS1 Sounds good. How does your game performance compare to the general benchmarks for 4070S?
@@Fatima_33 It's the same GPU why would it not perform the same?
@xboxrules8472 there is minimal difference among different AIBs for same Gpus. It could be due to internal components, clocking limit, size etc.
@@Fatima_33 If you're not getting at least reference performance from your 4070 Super it's because of something cheap in your PC causing a bottleneck.
Couple of things: not removing the pcie cover. tried to connect 8 pin psu cable to the card. There is not gpu 1060 Ti to have upgraded from.
Yep, all fair comments. I should of reshot the install and it was only a 1060 my bad
how to unplug 12 pin power on this card

its a freaking good card. perfect 1440p gpu.

@@DTMS1 😁
Bro what about the thermals of this specific zotac card?
@@xboxrules8472 What does fine mean? 75c at full load? 85c? Is anything under 90 defines "fine" if that's so then that's terrible man

Good running at around 50C most of the time. Even under load its only peaked at 65C

no, a 3080ti is not better, this will perform 1-4 % better than a 3080ti, its right between a 3080ti and a 3090.
