A Trio of zombies had come across and entered to investigate the cordyceps infested and abandoned lands and fought against one of the infected individuals by the fungus, A Clicker, At the end of the battle, only the strongest of the zombie trio had survived, The Drowned. After 2 days, The drowned was resting in the same infected city where his 2 allies fell, Until, A long-infected individual wondering around, seeking for any victim that wasn't infected, So the drowned, recognizing the Bloater's groans and growls, engaged in combat! I may not know much about The Last of Us but i know that if the Bloater gets his hands on you, youre done. The Drowneds only advantage was his ranged attacks with the trident. Hell maybe he couldve won if he didnt decide to go close range. Those attacks really seemed to hurt the Bloater

Drowned only died because he had illegal enchanting combinations on his trident (Riptide + Channeling)
Or maybe because he was fighting a bloater, who knows
