I started the recording at the beginning of Premonition, but the video stopped for some reason. Had to start again about 40 seconds into the song.

Yes. Actually my least favourite songs were the Waterfront and Don't You. Lots didn't know early LPs.

It always surprises people who only know Simple Minds from the mid 80s to find out how haunting and inspirational their first 5 LPs were ( still are). Hey, hundreds of thousands love them for their 'epic' stadium fillers and that's fine too...My favourite LPs are Sons And Fascination and Sister Feelings Call...

Took a friend to the gig. He's not a fan of the band but a fan of music. After Love Song and The American I was explaining to him how rare it was for the band to preform more than 1 song from the early albums at a gig. Then when Premonition came on I went off on one. I actually started recording at the beginning but my phone stopped for some reason. Had to start again. When I told my mate the song was from 79 he couldn't believe it. Then This Fear Is God's started. I fucking lost it. Again I was telling my mate that all 4 were from the early albums and I was hoping they were going to do Today I Died Again. Them song made my night.
@@leebedy71 the best shows I ever saw where the 5 x 5 shows which where amazing, I’m going to try for the Scarborough gig which is an amazing venue. Thanks for the recording I really enjoyed watching it :-)
