Someone I know said I need a balance in my theology and the importance to give attention to the father and the holy Spirit too. What would you say to something like that?

I was in the very same situation as you but I found that when I got really close to Jesus, He, Himself started to intruduce the Father to me, and naturally got very close to the Father without even trying... Jesus IS THE DOOR to the Father, so if you get to know the door you will also find the Father.... and the Holy Spirit naturally becomes your best friend because He is the one that stirrs your love for Jesus and enlightens you to how amazing Jesus is in everyday life.
