  • At East Fork Christmas Tree Farm we have enjoyed selling quality trees for years. Lately we have had Pedro come and help us occasionally. Pedro has been working Christmas trees year around for decades. Here are a few tips on how to grow trees. ‪@FlanaganHomestead‬ #christmastreefarm

When you have to cut back a liter, it’s always a good idea to leave the top bud on the north side. It will always bend towards the sun.

I have talked to so many people about tying tops. No one else has ever mentioned that. I will give it a try. Thanks for your input.

Hi rob, say i remember your one video you tied tops and the trees leader bowed. So you weren’t going to do it again so may i ask are you now just tying tops after the trees new growth has been hardened off?

Sorry if I misled you in my video. I have tied tops every year. I have just forced myself to be more patient and be sure the growth is done.
