@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV My iPhone got swept away by the waves. Pocket 2 and zoom recorder were water damaged. I have bought new Pocket 2 as I can't wait for Pocket 3 (which is coming out at end of this year). I am in Bangkok for 2 weeks of video filming work now, will be back to SG for 2 weeks and go to Bangkok again for 3 more weeks. Work here is Monday to Saturday. Wake up at 6am and go to sleep past midnight. I have little time for my channel and hope my viewers will not abandon me. Had recorded some cool stuff from my vacation in Melbourne, Victoria but I had no time to edit.
I will be back on Aug 8 night. Hope to be able to film the fireworks on Aug 9 from the Promontory. Alan, your channel is doing extremely well. Congrats.
@@SingaporeCityWalks Sounds like you are working in the travel industry and you are busy with work again. With the schedule you have shared its definitely challenging to regularly post.
If possible, edit some video an schedule them to be posted once a week. It will keep your loyal fans in their watch history. If you are gone for quite awhile the view count will steadily drop.
Also you have to be mentally prepared your foreign videos won't perform as well as the Singapore ones. Its due to your regular viewers interest. RUclips will recommend your posts to the regular viewers first and if it does well then it will expand out to capture more audience.
Again I am sorry for the equipment loss. Must have been painful. That said, at least you and your wife are safe. Thats whats important
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Thanks for your tips. I am doing video filming full-time as a cameraman/editor/sole proprietor. The last 2.5 years was really bad for me. I had no absolutely jobs for the 1st year of Covid-19. Business has picked up this year and my regular client is sending me overseas to film. I will be in Bangkok for a total of more than 5 weeks with a break in between. I don't have the time to film in Singapore. I guess this can't be helped.

Glad to know business is coming back and it entails getting the chance to travel.
Just pace yourself and don't stress too much about the channel. Especially when its out of your control. Consider do a community post sharing updates on your channel. The most regular viewers will be sent the impression and update.
You can consider using the stories function to share small snippets of your work in Bangkok to keep the viewers engaged.
RUclips actually does provide us with quite a few functions to keep busy and exercise our creative juices.
I am also going to slow down my uploads a bit and try out Shorts soon. I think its something to think about. =)

Singapore evenings are full of delicious food. The back of the patrolling police is similar to that of the Korean police. The outfits and the hats and fluorescent vests are similar.😉😊

Its the National Day Preview. There is another one this coming Saturday
10 years ago visit Singapore to Fullerton area and the Merlin, i did not see any fences seperating upper area to the water/sea. Since when it has fences like that? Just weird to see fence in Singapore for i know Singapore is fence free city lol.
It's for the upcoming National Day Parade on 9th August. There are preview shows so they have to fence the area for crowd control. It will be taken down after that 😉
