- The recruits of Lima company take the Combat Fitness Test during Marine Corps boot camp on Parris Island.
Marine recruits lean that their civilian bodies aren’t good enough. USMC training focuses on turning their civilian bodies into the bodies of Marines. This is done through a rigorous routine of endurance and resistance exercises. Running will build their cardiovascular endurance and events like the circuit course will build muscle strength and stamina to forge them into the best shape of their lives. They are going to need it for the trials they face ahead.
i ran this test last month its the most exhausting test ever

Don't remember this in boot camp....Did it at ITR....or some version of it..
It looks easy but when I took it I was exhausted.
I liked CFT any day over PFT maybe because the run portion lol but yes its exhausting
