@@A_29886 No, Reed set Moe and Sterl an ultimatum that it's either Cale or him. He didn't have the guts to tell Cale eye to eye. Because they knew Reed before in their teens, they stayed loyal to Reed. Sterl in an interview stated that is was probably jealousy, due to Cale's musical superiority, that made Reed remove Cale from the band.
