Surfing Scar Reef Sumbawa Indonesia (8th Nov 2016)

A friendly german surfer took this footage from a GoPro in the channel.
This was about 4 years into my surfing journey, so still in the beginner stages.
It was late morning, the surf was pumping and most of the crowd had gone in.
Got my first ever proper barrel on one of these waves that I made.
Got dry-docked a few times after the wipeouts.
Still remember the first barrel I made to this day!

Very same wipe out cost me a broken vertebra and the end of surfing for me, beware of the shock when the lip falls on the surface and you are down close to the sand, cause it smashes you against the sando or rock bottom guys
