I would like to point out that F.E.A.R was unfortunately never available digitally since it was released before you were able to buy and install “On Demand” 360 games through the marketplace though other games got a digital release after the NXE update in 2008, F.E.A.R and F.E.A.R Files never did probably has something to do with Vivendi Games and Activision merging preventing a digital release for both games. F.E.A.R also had DLC’s for multiplayer, but it has since been delisted and for anyone who owned them can still play it on 360 but it won’t work on Series X.

I believe you are right, but I believe F.E.A.R 2 and F.E.A.R 3 are available on Xbox marketplace, or at least I HAVE a digital FEAR on xbox XSX, I didn't buy physical of Fear either. Let me double check that!

You should definitely mention Fable 2 in the next one. The Xbox Series version is the best way to play it since it looks and feels great and it never got a PC port. Its a fantastic game and still a lot of fun.
Other games you could mention are Assassins Creed 1 and Dishonored, both are timeless classics and upgraded to 4k 60fps on the Xbox Series X.
Also Condemned, Saints Row 2, Far Cry 2 and The Force Unleashed are great backwards compatible games from the 360 era.
Anyway I really enjoy your content, keep it up!

Awesome list! I wanted to add one of my most played Xbox 360 games: Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed. This is the closest the Xbox has to Mario Kart. Not only do you drive, but you can fly a plane and go on a speed boat! Many of the levels have a special Sega theme to it and makes me smile. I love this game so much and I have 4 player split screen action when my friends stop by! Thanks to the update, it is 60 fps on the Xbox Series consoles. Also, it's still pretty popular as I can find people online on certain days.

The NPCs just did and said so many random things and them having their own names and personalities made the world feel unforgettable.

F.E.A.R.'s Xbox port is honestly a solid effort. Controls wise, it's pretty functional, and gameplay wise, it's nigh identical to the PC.
EDIT: Also, the extra content in the form of the Bonus Mission starring Holiday and the Instant Action mode (which would come to PC with the Perseus Mandate expansion, albeit with new levels) also make Xbox F.E.A.R. worth owning on those merits alone. Instant action is chaotic fun, and the Holiday level is a fun slowmo-less affair.

Oblivion is my favorite ES game in the series to this day and it looks great on XSX, I've played a bunch of it on there. Blue Dragon is very underrated, especially considering the dev team was a who's who of Japanese RPG's and culture. It was developed by Mistwalker which was Hironobu Sakaguchi's (creator/maker of Final Fantasy up to FFIX) studio. The art was done by Akira Toriyama (creator of Dragon Ball and art designer of Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger and the music was composed by Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy music composer). I think what held it back was the cartoon art style in a time where video game graphics were getting more and more realistic and so people weren't as drawn to animated style graphics as much. I really enjoy it though.
I never played Bully but after watching this I might try it out because I didn't realize it was an open world game. I actually own Split Second on Steam, bought it years ago on a Steam sale, I think I played it once but it looks fun. And Fear was a great game back in the day, I haven't played it in forever but I may have to try it on back-compat. Great video!

      @campxbox  День назад +1

You may have mentioned this in a video, but you can buy great games like Burnout 3, Mortal Kombat (2011) and Jet Set Radio on a 360, then log in with that same account on a newer Xbox (One/Series) and download and play from there. All the stuff you own is still tied to your account. Same with years and years of DLC for many games.

Mortal Kombat (2011) while it did include DLC’s from the Kollection version on disc, the DLC’s will not download on the Series X and even if you purchased them digitally before they were delisted they will still not download since Microsoft didn’t make them compatible for unknown reasons.

Another well done review, with excellent details on each game & why they're great & worth picking up!
"Bully" I own for the 360 which looks great considering it's a 6th gen game. You can also purchase it digitally for the PS4, much like the other numerous PS2 Rockstar Games!
"Fear" is fantastic on so many levels, I would add there's very good DLC expansions for it, well worth buying from the Xbox Store!
The same with "Split Second", there's many terrific DLC additional cars & tracks to purchase. The other couple of "Fear" games & DLC are exceptional!

Surprised you didn’t mention Burnout Revenge, it’s fun to just blast through traffic with the most over the top crashes possibly ever. The bloom is too toned up from PS2/Xbox, but it’s still a very fun game that looks uncannily good for a game from that generation.
FEAR’s great as usual, blowing apart enemies with the shotgun doesn’t get old. Do note you need to use a patch like Peixoto’s gore or MMod v1 (v2 messes up the game) on PC to fix dismemberment.

Hi mate, you should mention all of the Fear titles work on Series X and all run at 60 fps as well. For their age they look so good on an OLED. Especially played at night with the lights off. I have all of these games you mentioned on disc.
A cool selection you chose here. I got a bit bored of Blue Dragon personally as there are just too many samey battles.
It seems to be far more respected now than when it came out on 360 too as it didn’t sell very well. Regardless I kept my original disc version anyway.

just for the download, after downloading you can play it offline. The thing is your xbox 360 disk only works as a virtual key to unlock the game from the xbox digital store and allows you to download the xbox game store version. The good thing about this is that most in store versions are upscaled meaning they run much better than your original xbox 360, so each game is slightly ''remastered''. The bad thing is that if you have a xbox 360 game disk and such game is not on the store then you cannot play it.

You can buy a lot of the backwards compatible games off the store digitally as well. Blue Dragon is one of them. You actually need an online connection to install the game when you insert the disc so you can play it. So that might be your issue. Are you online? Is it reading your disc at all? It could be an unreadable disc. The final thing I could think of is since Blue Dragon is a multi-disc game, maybe you are putting in discs 2 or 3, and it needs disc 1 to read it. I'm not sure Disc 2 or 3 will bring up the installation. I haven’t tried, so that's just a guess.
