This is the first Atlantis set I've seen in any detail and I must say, it's an impressive one. I would think the price of $60 back in 2009 was high, maybe understandable given the size and uniqueness of some of the parts, but high all the same. $60 in 2024 seems a great deal and I think you made a great choice when you decided to pick it up.
What are the best LEGO Atlantis sets? I don't think I'm going to try to get every set from that theme, but I am interested in looking at at least a couple more.

Pretty much every set is really great but the exploration hq is a standout in my opinion.
This theme is one of my all-time favorites, the ones I remember most fondly were probably the gateway of the squid and the exploration hq.
